Solving Problems

We had a day full of problem solving.  In the morning Oliver saw a rainbow in our family room.  He solved our problem that we were working on the other day--what colors are in a rainbow--he pointed to the colors and told Mommy each one he saw.

Later, we made some Rice Krispie Treats with our daycare friends.  Mommy found that we didn't have enough marshmallows so she knew we would need to modify the recipe to make less.  The recipe called for 40 big marshmallows so Mommy had the boys count how many we actually had and then she decided how many cups of Rice Krispies we should actually use.  We had fun counting and the boys had fun eating!

Mommy loves when little challenges come up and we can work on solving problems.  Oliver is starting to understand the concept more and more.  Cutie patooty.

 Touching the rainbow.
Telling Mommy the colors of the rainbow.
Mommy and Oliver think they are starting to solve the problem
of the missing Leprechaun.  (He seems to be getting closer...).
Taking turns pouring in the Rice Krispies.
 Melted marshmallows, yum.
 Mixing it up.
A little bit of sweetness.

Mommy had to solve a lot of toy sharing problems today.
Usually they are pretty good at sharing and taking
turns, but today Mommy had to put a lot
of the toys on top of the fridge.  No fun!
