Touch-a-Truck

This morning Oliver and Mommy went to the Touch-a-Truck event, all the proceeds from the event went to this special organization to help fight pediatric cancer.  Oliver had fun looking at all the trucks, but was not really into standing in line to go inside them.  We just walked around and observed.  We also sat for a while and listened to Hullaballoo and drank lemonade.

The rest of our day was nice.  Oliver was really great when Mommy got her hair cut, and then he hung out with Grammie for a bit.  Saturdays are nice.

The neat information sheet, a map was on
the back.  We didn't really use it.  (Sometimes,
it's fun to see where you'll end up, when you don't
follow the "guidelines.")  We didn't know Hullaballoo
was going to be there so that was pretty cool!

Garbage Truck

Neat!

Extra neat!

The military had a section there!

Hummer.  Oliver wanted to know
why the hood was open...

Mommy told him it was so people could see the engine.
He liked what he saw.

The old cars were really neat.

Love the colors of this car!

Cool!

Oliver got a little cupcake...

to go with his fancy lemonade!

All the proceeds went to Max's Ring of Fire.

A Gymnastics Bus.

Hullaballoo.  Singing about a Pirate who
says, Please and Thank You.  (Mommy likes
Pirates who have good manners!)  Mommy took
a good video of the song, but it took to long
downloading on the blog.

Cement Truck.

This was Mommy's favorite truck!  It even had
a "historic vehicle" license plate for the state of California.

We got our picture taken.  Oliver was tired at that point-
which explains why Mommy was holding him.  And of course
he wouldn't look at the camera!  Mommy wonders when
he will start to cooperate when we take "normal" pictures...

Neat VW Bus.

They even had an off-road section!

This was a cool Jeep.  (Mommy likes the color.)

We liked all the stickers under the hood-
especially the Max's Ring of Fire Sticker.
So sweet.

Oliver really liked this little motorcycle!

He also liked this race car.  It kind of reminded
us of Lightening McQueen.

This was the only thing he wanted to touch...

the tire..

He spent a while investigating it.  Cute!

He also liked the police motorcycle.
Mommy forgot to take a picture though.

He also liked the fire truck!

They even had an RV there!

On the way back to the car we came across some
Rosemary.  It smelled really good.  So we stopped
and smelled it for a bit.

Oliver walking down the steps.  (Going down is always fun...)

We got Hullabaloo's new CD "Road Trip."  There
are some cute songs, we are listening to it in the car!
