Movie Time

This morning Oliver and Mommy were lazy.  We hung around our home for a little bit and then we visited Grammie.  Oliver and Grammie worked on their Cars Sticker book while Mommy took a nice Y break.  Afterwards, Oliver and Mommy went to the movie theaters.

We have had passes for about a year and a half now.  We decided we should use them!  So, we went to see Kung Fu Panda 2.  We haven't seen the first one, but it seemed interesting and it was the only cartoon.  We were all set to use our free passes, but we got lucky!  Aunt Jess's old friend was working the ticket booth and he gave Mommy and Oliver free admission!  Cool beans!  Now we still have our tickets!  Mommy was really enjoying the movie, but after about an hour Oliver grabbed his lemonade, stood up and said, "I am ready to go."  Mommy tried to talk him into staying but its not easy, when an almost 4 year old has his mind set and there are other people around to consider.  So, we left.  Mommy will have to rent it sometime.

We came home to relax and work in our yard a bit.  We had a great weekend together.

Ultra Star Theatre in Del Mar.  They closed
the Ultra Star down by our favorite
coffee shop and library.  Bummer.

Mommy likes the title of this movie,
"Midnight in Paris."
(Midnight is fun, and so is Paris.)

Mommy wants to see this movie, but
she needs to catch up on the first 3!
Mommy wonders why the pirate
above is kind of kooky, but so
lovable...(really?).

Kung Fu Panda.  Mommy loved
how the panda's tummy rumbled all the time.
He was a cutie.

Oliver giving his ticket to the lady.

Waiting in line for a treat.

Checking out the treats.  He chose a lemonade and sour
straws.  Mommy is surprised he likes sour stuff!

After the movie we walked over to Pannikins to
get some coffee.  This is a picture of an inside
of a closed restaurant.  It looks like the Kung Fu
Panda made his way through there.

Poor Italian Restaurant, Oliver thought
it was pretty cool!  (Mommy likes Italian-American "places.")

Oliver getting a gumball in Pannikins.

Decaf Americano.  Yum.  Oliver ordered
it for Mommy.  Mommy was holding him so he could see
the girl and he ordered for Mommy. He rubbed her face with
his sweet hand when he ordered.  It melted Mommy's heart.
