Cleaning and Reading

When Oliver got home today he wanted to help Mommy clean the playroom up.  There were lots of fingerprints on the windows on our daycare doors, so Oliver worked on cleaning them up.  He also wanted to clean the step leading into the room.  He is so helpful.  Mommy is glad that he takes pride in the care of our home....most of the time.

We had a great evening together.  Bath time went pretty smooth, we read a bit from our Little House book, and Oliver fell asleep fast!

Clean up, clean up, everybody clean up.

Kind of cleaning up...

Our Little House book.  It is about a different
family, the main character is a boy named Almanzo.

We read "Saturday Night."  Mommy wasn't
sure what to expect from this chapter...(but she
figured Saturday night should be just fine and full of fun...)

but Saturday night is bath night for the family!

Almanzo doesn't like the bath part, but he likes the feeling clean part.  The whole family has to take
turns using the barrel for their bath.  Oliver couldn't believe it!  They had a pretty big family so it took
all night long.  Mommy didn't mention that Almanzo has to only take a bath once a week.  We've worked way too hard on our bath routine...Mommy doesn't want Oliver to get any ideas!
