Donut Wednesday started out perfectly normal, just a little warm and windy:
Oliver took over the camera:
Nice picture!
There is always a strange one from him.
Mommy took control of the camera:
Oliver's Donuts.
Mommy's Donut Hole.
Sweet.
(Mommy's Coffee.)
Mommy dropped off Oliver at school and told him she'd see him at night for his First Grade Performance!
But things in San Diego got fiery.
Mommy couldn't drive home the usual way because
there was a house fire. She knew there was
a big fire in Carlsbad near the Batiquitos Lagoon
where she likes to run and our favorite library.
Then a fire started in San Marcos behind
Mommy's college. A few other fires
were burning too.
The show went on though!
Mommy snuck up on her little spider!
A few kids were missing, but the play was beautiful!
Oliver knew his songs and was so confident on stage!
Mommy is proud of him!
She will figure out how to post a video later.
She gave him a plant and a card to tell him so!
His friend got some pretty flowers too!
He has been talking about how he wanted to stand
on the bridge and take a picture! So we did
after the show! He got to play behind the
curtains too!
And then he went all crazy in the grass with some
friends!
And, the fire just seems to keep getting bigger.
Most San Diego County schools are closed
tomorrow. Mommy may see Oliver tomorrow.
Hopefully these fires can be contained.
