Bates Nut Farm

Today we visited Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center.  They have a huge pumpkin patch every year, so we decided to go on an adventure and pick out a pumpkin!  We had a lot of fun together.  We started with looking at and talking to the animals, then went into the little country store (it was so cute!  Mommy has never been in there), after Oliver ate a hot dog for lunch, and then we made our way to the pumpkin patch.  It was wonderful.

On the way home we stopped by a coffeehouse in Valley Center that Mommy has always wanted to go into.  It was so cute, it was really set up like a house!  We hung out and drank our drinks for a bit in the living room.  Then we drove the long way home (Oliver and Mommy’s favorite Norah song- ever since Oliver was a little baby…we change “woman” to “mama.”).  It was a beautiful day.

Oliver is with his Daddy now for the next few nights.  Love you little man.
