Energy

We had a lot of energy today and we accomplished a lot!  Now, Mommy doesn't have energy to write the blog.  She will write Monday, she just fell asleep writing the other blog.  (Goodnight and sweet dreams.)

So, its Tuesday night now.  We had a really great day!  Claire was super fun to hang out with in the morning!  Our race at night was great!  Oliver learned about setting landmark goals during your run to get you further and to help you sustain your pace.  He also learned about mantras.  Mommy learned to be patient and humble.  Oliver told Mommy that she had to give other people a chance to win when she saw the front of the pack racers, she felt like she could be there with them.  Oliver taught Mommy a good lesson about enjoying the moment and loving who you are with and what you are doing.  (Important stuff.)

Returning her sibling books!

We played at home for a bit.  On the way
we found a wooden ladder.  Mommy wants
to paint it and use it to display stuff in the
Bernadette or Inspiration Room!

A glimpse of Oliver's energy level.

Escondido Police Dept. was there this year.
Some not so great crimes have happened in
Escondido.  Hopefully Crimestoppers can
help solve the senseless acts.

Maybe on the news again?

Start line.

Start line nerves.

Nice couple we met.  They helped
motivate Oliver along the race course!

Policer helicopter over the start line making an
announcement about the robber racers!

Runner!

Lots of police along the course!

Happy!

Finishing time around 52 minutes!

Refueling with chocolate milk, the trendy new
recovery drink.  Water is good too!

Fun!

Oliver tried to go in her but we had to come out
20 seconds later.

Results.

City lights.

Dinner for hungry racers.
