Earth Day Fair

We went to Balboa Park today for the Earth Fair!  We love our planet!  The weather was perfect and gorgeous today!

We love adventuring downtown too!

We parked near Petco Park and took a shuttle!

We love that they offer the free shuttle for the Fair!

Oliver loves school buses!

EXCITED!!

The driver was super funny.  He was making

the whole bus laugh! 

(Mommy needs to laugh more like that.)

We stopped by the Founder's Area

when we got to the Park!

Lots and lots of stuff to see!  We didn't make it to

all the areas, but we had a lot of fun!

We took a break to watch the Puppet Show, 

"Whispers in the Forest."  Life size puppets!

We really enjoyed the simplicity of the show and the

message about saving our forests and the animals that live there.

We can't wait for the next show!  Oliver will be getting

a back stage tour of the theatre!

We love Earth Day and the Puppet show!

We were twins in our Earth Day shirts from last year!

(Oliver wanted Mommy to stand by the pokey cactus,

don't make fun of her stance, she doesn't want to get hurt!)

We went back to creating!

Practicing recycling and throwing away trash.

He built a bug!  He thought he got to take

the whole bug bucket home!  He was a little

upset!

We stopped by the planting table again to say hello 

to the ladybugs!

This was about the time when we were both

pretty tired from walking and the massive amount

of people that just kept coming into the park!

But we remained patient.

Someone was happy!

We decided after the balloon and a short rest to head home!

We found our shuttle bus!

And relaxed on the way back to the car.
