Christmas Eve

We woke up this morning with sweet Claire in mom's bed and Oliver sleeping on the floor beside her.  We loved having a slumber party with Claire, we can't wait for Rachel and Waylon to join in the fun.  We grabbed donuts at Petersens and then took Claire home.  We got a special treat.....hugs and kisses from Shane!  The rest of the day Oliver went and spent time with his dad and his family.  Oliver came home to carry on the tradition of leaving donuts and carrots out for Santa and his reindeer even though, sadly, he hasn't believed in a long time.  Mom is trying to teach him the importance of tradition, love, and magic.  Maybe it will eventually work.  She won't give up.

Oliver wanted the maple bacon bar.  Of course he
couldn't eat the whole thing.

We stopped at World Market to look at
last minute sales and have fun.  Mommy
liked this journal.  That's how she felt about the
blog the last couple days.  Maybe she'll fix those
posts soon.

This made mom's day good.  Aunt Jess gave her Shane's
preschool pictures.  This is her favorite...its just tooooo
funny and cute.  We can't handle it...

Pillow fight.

The three stooges:

Mermaid Claire.

Sweetness.  That used to be Oliver's sweater.

Mom tried to take a nice picture at home.
To dark, but he looked handsome.

This one was a bit better.

Mom did some soul searching at Lake Hodges
after she dropped off Oliver.

Believe in magic and traditions.
It's important.

Merry Christmas Eve.
