Days

Tuesdays we do whatever.  Sometimes we do errands, sometimes we go to the Farmer's Market, sometimes we do things on a whim, whatever.  Today we came home and did a bunch of chores.  But first we relaxed and caught up with some games we play, we were both a bit tired!

We kind of were lazy and had to lie down.

Oliver tried to take a picture of Mommy relaxing.
It didn't work.  Oh well.

Oliver played Angry Birds.

Mommy played Words with Friends with our
Cousin Denny!  We have a million games going.
Mommy loves it!

After relaxing we got up to start our chores:

Oliver asked for milk and Mommy made a
big mess.  She dropped the milk carton and
its seam ripped!  Milk was all over
Oliver's clothes!  Oops!

Oliver was funny, he said, "Today's
just not our day!"  Because we also
dropped something earlier.  Mommy
can't remember what it was because
she is so tired!

Anyways, what Oliver said reminded Mommy of the saying, "Wednesday's child is full of woe."
Oliver and Mommy were both born on Wednesdays, and nope today was not our day!
But Mommy dealt with the spill very gracefully and Oliver was super funny about it.
(Maybe we were born on the wrong day?)

Here is the poem that the saying comes from:

Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child that's born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny, blithe, good and gay.
