The highlight of our day had to do with sunflowers. Mommy ran a race this weekend and her finishers medal was a packet of sunflower seeds! The race honored Chelsea King who was murdered two years ago while running on a trail in Escondido. The race raised money for the foundation created in her honor. They had sunflowers available at the race. Sunflowers
were Chelsea's favorite flower. Mommy
gave a little donation and brought some home. Mommy
also brought home a pot for Oliver to paint and for us
to plant the seeds.
