Paper Bag Town

Oliver is still sick.  We went to our new doctor in Escondido today.  Oliver didn’t want to go, but once we were with the nurse- he was fine.  Our new doctor is wonderful- she is just as gentle and sweet as Dr. Rubin.  Oliver has a slight fever and a cold.  He will be fine- no medicine, he just needs lots of fluid, rest, and love.

This afternoon we found a fun activity to work on from our new High Five magazine.  We cut out the pieces and pasted them to brown paper bags.  We made a neat paper bag town.  It was fun.  Oliver can’t wait to share it with friends.  (It is nice to have friends to share things with and who care about things you are interested in...)  We set out a bunch of cars in the town and maybe later we can work on making some people to walk around the town.  High Five always has neat and simple ideas for fun with younger children.  (The explanations are easier to follow.)  We look forward to our magazine every month.

Oliver is off with his Daddy now for the next couple of evenings.  Rest up little man.

He wanted to hold Mommy's hand in the waiting room.
Taking a nap...he is getting a lot of rest.
