Track Dedication

Here are a bunch of pictures of the Track Dedication at Mommy's school this morning.  Later she'll add other things to it.  None of the pictures have close up of students, she's printing those for school! (She just wants a place to share and save these pictures!)

November

It's November already!  (Wow.)  Mommy wanted to share our calendars with you.

Masha

Mommy realized we don't have a turkey
tile for November!  The original makers
of this calendar are hard to find.  Mommy
inherited this calendar from her Grandma.
She originally bought it at a craft fair.

Happy November!  We've got the Christmas decorations out, ready to be put up!  We figured out last year, the earlier the better!  More time to enjoy them!

Paperwork

Our evening was full of paperwork.

Oliver wanted to know what was for lunch tomorrow.

Mommy had to tell Oliver he really needs to study
his spelling words everyday.  Taking a pretest
on THURSDAY nights really helps.  Mrs. Olmstead
suggested this strategy at the parent/teacher conference.

All of his studying for the science test paid off!
(Maybe Mommy's pocked strategy worked too?!)

Practicing his book talk presentation!

Paper to explain the assignment.

We had a quick den leaders meeting tonight too for Mommy's popcorn kernel shadow duties.  (Bedtime now.)

Reading and Rest

Oliver had a lot of rest today.  He listened to a chapter book on CD in his room.  Mommy went to check on him and couldn't find him.  Wonder why?!

She finally found him.  He was really into hanging
out in his room and reading!  Yay!

We worked outside a little too.  He played
with Mattias for a bit.  Jayden and Isabel moved
last weekend without saying goodbye.  (Story
behind that move.) Sorry to see them go.

Mommy took care of whats left of our squash and
pumpkins.

She planted a bunch of greens too!

Oliver read some raz kids this evening, making himself
too comfortable on Mommy's bed.

(Goodnight.)
