Swim

We repeated yesterday evening because it was so hot at home!  We crossed our fingers and made some wishes and yippie!!!  The pool was open!  It was pretty warm, some of the skylights were open to let in some cool air and Oliver walked the wall a bunch of times!  Mommy is so proud of him!

Oliver spent a little time with Grammie watching

Olympic Volleyball!  He fell asleep right as Mommy

came to get him!  So, he didn't see the lights on 

the way home!  But Mommy stopped to look.

(Swimming and looking at water is soothing to Mommy.)  

Especially after a long hot day!

Swim

Mommy and Oliver went to Family Swim at the Y tonight.  Unfortunately when we walked into the pool area we saw that no one was in the instructional pool!  They had just put chemicals into it because there had been two "accidents."  That happens at least once a week in that pool!  We weren't able to practice Oliver's wall walking, we tried to go in the other pool but it was freezing!  (Mommy doesn't like feeling so cold!)

Oliver had fun at the splash pad and taking a shower!  He loves taking showers now!  And he loved hanging out with Grammie later in the evening!

Mommy saw a Mama deer and her two babies crossing

the road driving home.  She had to stop completely 

in the road because one of the babies was trailing behind its Mama.  

Mommy will make sure she shows this to Oliver!  We were just 

talking about the animals Mommy sees in Elfin Forest at night!

Lake Walk

Mommy picked up Oliver and we stopped by Lake Hodges for a walk and a picnic before we came home.  We had a nice time on the swing, along the shore, and on the trail!
