Grape Slide

Oliver had an awesome day at preschool!  Afterwards we stopped at the Grape Slide.  Oliver had fun playing on the slide and climbing the stems.  He has been working on one area for a while now and he finally figured out how to climb it!  Yippee!  He has a bruised chin to show how hard he has been working on it!  Mommy is proud of him!

We had a wonderful evening together!

Happy Slide Kid!

Mommy and Oliver going down the slide.  It is fast!

Cuteness!

Thinking about climbing...

There he goes!

Wheatgrass Tuesday.  (Mommy needs it.)

The other view.  (Yum.)

Oliver was trying to give orders to Mommy through his
microphone.  Not funny, but kind of funny.  When
Mommy asked him to do it again, he couldn't.  But
he made some cute facial expressions.

Happy Tuesday!

Microphone

We had a busy day with the daycare babies.  Oliver enjoyed playing his new tape player and microphone.  Mommy found an old Gin Blossoms tape so he kept playing some nice music and talking into the microphone.  Its really cute.  Especially when he takes it to his room to play with and shuts the door.  Mommy wonders if he is singing and looking at himself in the mirror.  Mommy loves her little Owl.

On Friday night he was fascinated with this band and the lady singing into the microphone...

Mommy loves this song!  (The mystery part is fun too.)
Mommy also told Grammie about this cute video!
 Mommy thinks Grammie
will be excited to see Oliver and hear the song in this video.

Oliver loves is microphone.  Mommy took a really
long video where he was actually talking into it, but
it takes too long to download....this is cute though.

Mommy was so busy with new babies today that she
was only able to snap this picture of Oliver.  He was cleaning
out our sports equipment bin and trash can.  He did a pretty good job!

Mommy had a monster day planned for Oliver, but
things didn't go as planned.

We look forward to reading our monster books!

And coloring our monsters!  (Hopefully soon...)  Oliver
is great at coloring things and sharing them.  (Mommy
thinks that Grammie would like to meet a neat monster!)
We will have to complete them on our Friday daycare day.

Happy Monday!

Lots of Friends

We had a busy day full of friends and family.  We visited with Grammie in the morning.  Oliver wanted to bring a chicken with him.  So, Mommy let him, but she had him bring two, so they wouldn't get lonely.  Grammie actually pet the chickens head!

We stopped by to see Rachel and Waylon.  We thought Ra Ra might like to see the baby chicks, she liked them!  Rusty liked them too!  Mommy liked seeing the babies, and Oliver loved playing with his cousins!

We had a great together day!

Oliver got a halloween donut this morning.  Yum!
We stopped by REI to get our stroller tires pumped
up with air!  Oliver loved everything he saw there!

He wanted to check out the tent!

He liked watching the tires get pumped up!  (The
stoller feels much better now.)

The air thingy.  Mommy likes how it is up
on the wall.  Oliver thought it was cool too!

Rusty looking at a chick.

Sweet Cousins.

So cute Waylon!

Definitely looking like his Daddy!

Yup, like his Daddy!

Mommy wanted Oliver to just touch Waylon's feet
instead of his hands and head.  Uncle Kelley wanted
Oliver to touch his feet too.  Mommy thinks Waylon's
feet look much more touchable...

Resting on his Mama.

Rachel talking and touching the chicken.  She is so beautiful.
Oliver in the background...(Sometimes, Mommy is good
at ignoring things...sorry.)  Oliver is working on waiting
his turn, it is a work in progress.

Oliver saying goodbye to some new daycare friends
with his microphone.  Mommy gets to watch a new baby friend.
Oliver got to play with the baby's 5 year old sister.  They
had a blast!

Mari came over for a sec to check out the
chickens.  Mari has the cutest outfit on!
Oliver wanted her to stay, but he had to
take his bath!

Happy Sunday!

Saturday

We had a fun Saturday doing little things.  It was a nice together day!

After sleeping in we went over to Grammie's
house!  Oliver got to hang out with Grammie
and baby Rachel!

Ra Ra was sleepy by the time Mommy got back from
the Y.  But she still looks scrumptious.

Mommy loves her feet.

We tried to teach her how to blow a kiss.
She is so cute!

Leaving with his yellow star balloon.

We stopped at the library.  He loves the dollhouse.

Mommy actually got to rest for a second and
read some of this cute book.  She liked it.
(Mommy has a dream jar too....)

Pretty yellow house.

We went to the....

Secret Garden at the library!

Mommy liked these flowers.  There were hummingbirds
everywhere!  There should be one in this picture if you
look close enough.

And probably in this picture too...

We liked the drought tolerant garden.

We hung out in the gazebo for awhile and chatted.
Oliver was so talkative, it was cute.

We stopped by the Goodwill in Escondido.
Oliver wanted to know all about thrift stores.
He has the garage sale thing down now.  He
wanted to stop at one this morning on the
way to Grammies.

The Goodwill was fun.

Mommy wanted a simple chair for outside.
We decided this small one would do for
a while, until we can find one that may
be more weathered...

Oliver was excited to go check out the fancy stuff upstairs.

Cuteness.

The toys are in this big crate.  It was difficult for him
to pick his one thing out.

Mommy thought this was funny.

Weird way to display toys.  But Mommy guesses it
is so kids don't make a huge mess.

Oliver carried the chair to the cashiers.
She thought he was really tall, she didn't
see the chair...

Oliver got a tape player.  We actually needed a
tape player too!  We put batteries in it when
we got home.  It worked!  Oliver spent about 30 minutes
talking into the microphone.  It was cute and a good way
for him to get some of his talkativeness out.

Happy Saturday!

October

Happy October!  Mommy wanted to share our calendars!  Mommy loves Fall!

So pretty.  (All the colors coming down are perfect.)

Beautiful.  (Mommy likes this one.)

Yum, Yum.

Spooky!

Oliver keeps asking how many days until
Halloween!!!
