Park, Backyard, and Reading

After school today, we went to the local park.  Oliver loves it there!  Mommy had fun watching him play and she on the swung on a swing for a bit.  We had fun!  We came home and played more.  Oliver took a little rest, while Mommy "worked."  We went outside for a bit.  Oliver worked on the plum tree with his pulley system- just like the tree trimmers on Monday!  Then we removed some weeds from Grammie's garden bed.  --Grammie, it is all ready for you to come and plant what you want!--

We had a wonderful Thursday!

Running to the play structure!

More running!

Oliver eating a tree, actually broccoli...
and working on our tree.

Tonight we started reading our Harry Houdini book.  The one we
got awhile ago, because Mommy was wondering more about
Harry.  (He always has the sweetest ideas.)  Even cooler, he lived
in Appleton, WI where Denny and Mean Steve live.
(Still got our bookmark too, Mommy tries to take good care of it.)
Biographies are fun!

  1. I recently included Houdini in a packect of "visit" info for a Flat Stanley, sent to me by Andy's son, Matthew, 2nd grade. Houdini claimed to have been born in Appleton, when in fact he was born in Hungary. I wonder why he felt the need to lie.
