Silly Saturday

Oliver was silly today!  When he woke up this morning he made little chirp, chirp bird sounds in Mommy's face while she was trying to get some more sleep.  It is hard to keep sleeping when you get woken up like that.  Silly Oliver.

We headed over to Grammie's house.  Mommy took a really nice Y break while Oliver played a whole bunch with Uncle Matthew who was also visiting Grammie.  Grammie said that she saw Oliver peeling his Uncle's eyelid back--gross but cute.  Mommy is glad that they enjoy playing together.

Afterwards, we had fun going to the library, and of course the coffee shop.  We also had to go downstairs and see if Hallmark was still open.  It was, they officially close next Friday.  Everything is 60% to 80% off now.  It is still a little hard for Mommy to see the store closing.  Tears.

We came home and took a little rest, then played in the backyard.  We love it back there!  It is so nice finding things to play with and planning what we want to do next back there!  We had a wonderful Saturday.

At the library.  Oliver always wants to see if there is
water in the fountain.  Today there was...along with some
mushy cracker goldfish.  Gross.

Headed to the coffee shop with a purple
flower he just picked...

He gave it to the sweet barista who told Oliver
that this was her first flower from him.  She said
that he turned her world around...(he has pretty much
turned the world around for Mommy too...).

After we got our Americano and Milk...
Oliver and Mommy decided to pick a
flower for the barista that made Oliver's milk, it was yum...

Oliver picked a pink flower and gave it to the barista- even
though he is a guy.  Oliver is such a sweetie.

Checking out the secret compartments at Hallmark.
Mommy can't read cards without "straightening" the
cards and putting them in their correct spots.  She
bets Aunt Jess is the same way...

At Vons in the car cart.  He hasn't ridden in a car cart for awhile.

Roping some weeds and trying to pull them out.
(This area of our yard is on Mommy's to do list...)

Working on our trellis.

Laughing at Mommy who was crying...

because he almost killed one of our sunflowers.

Cuteness making small holes for Mommy with
his "stick 3000,"  that is what he called it!  We
planted red onion seeds!  Hopefully they will grow!
Mommy saw the gopher.  But he disappeared
before we got over there...(we definitely
need gopher control and soon.)

Beautiful face looking for the gopher.

Mommy took a rest and watched Oliver play...and looked
at our yard.

Mr. O playing.  So silly and so glad we can have
so much fun together outside!
