Oliver had a wonderful day at preschool. He learned a lot and told Mommy all about his friend Vivian. Cuteness. We came home and ate dinner together, played in the backyard, took a not-so-great bath- it's hard to keep his cast up, so his baths have been pretty quick ones!
We read an interesting chapter in our Little House book. Oliver asked a lot of questions about Indians and settlers. He seemed pretty interested- hopefully he will like learning about history when he is in school. That was always one of Mommy's favorite subjects!
Happy almost Donut Wednesday!
Walking down his hallway.
Playing under the lemon tree. His ball kept getting stuck
and somehow it also hit Mommy in the head twice.
Oliver crying because Mommy took his
squirt bottle away. He kept squirting Mommy- he
knows the rules...
Our chapter was about "war cries." It was a little
scary experience for the family in the little house.
Mommy asked Oliver to make a war cry and he did
a cute one that sounded like a high pitch laugh.
(Some nights Mommy thinks all the things
she "hears"around... kind of sound like war cries.)
An example is the picture above...
Oliver wrote this the other day for Mommy when he was
leaving for the weekend. Mommy asked him what it said.
He said, "Come back." He must have gotten that from
a song she was listening too. (Good stuff there.) Mommy
doesn't want to erase it.
Sweet dreams everyone.
