Oliver had an awesome day at preschool! He showed Mommy some of the fun things he is working on in his classroom:
Oliver's sun. Mommy started singing
"You are my Sunshine" to him.
He kind of liked it. But Mommy could
only sing about two lines of the song.
(Here is a good Johnny Cash version.)
Oliver's Tree
Lady Bug parts drying on the rack.
We stopped by Jimbos to get some Wheatgrass.
(Mommy needs it.) Oliver was messing around
with the bucket of juices. Mommy made up a
funny rhyme to make Oliver stop. He laughed.
Mommy can't remember what the rhyme was now.
But he wanted some Pop Chips, so Mommy
made him come up with words that rhyme
with Pop. He couldn't think of any.
Mommy offered, mop.
He tried really hard! He still got the chips.
The clerk suggested what a bunny does! Hop!!!
Oh boy, rhyming is so much fun!
Oliver loves listening to a funny rhyme song when we are in the car!
Oliver watched The Red Balloon (Paris) this evening.
He saw it when he was about 2 1/2, this time he
had so many questions. It was pretty amazing
to hear his thinking. If you haven't seen this
check it out! (Afterwards, we finished Mommy's
Happy Tuesday!
