Easter Egg Hunt

Oliver had so much fun at the Easter Egg Hunt this morning!  Mommy got there early to exercise and get a good parking spot, then Grammie dropped him off to Mommy!  It worked out perfectly!

We had some time to walk around and get pumped up for the hunt!  Oliver did an awesome job and he even got to meet the Easter Bunny!

Happy Saturday!

Parking Lot:

Oliver collecting Mommy's coffee.
She left it there when she ran after Grammie's
car up on Saxony Dr.  (Mommy and Grammie
worked in sync to get the goods (Oliver)
delivered.)  Oliver would call that TEAMWORK!

Crazy Parking Situation!

Headed to the Festivities:

Line was not moving and super long.
We gave up.

Line was extremely long and not moving.
We gave up.  They need about 10 slides
and 10 bouncy houses next year!

We checked out some skateboarders at
the Y's Skate Park.

Making his way to the 4/5 year old egg hunt line up.

Mommy is glad she had some sunscreen in her purse.
Oliver's little face and arms needed it!
(Race swag.)

Being patient.

Long line!  We were at the front.

Trying to be patient.

Very patient duck.

Not so patient Oliver.  Mommy sent him to
the fence to watch the people putting the eggs in the grass!

Finally, Egg Hunt:

Oliver's strategy at the start: to run all the way to the back
fence and start there!

All that took about a minute...

All the sudden the swarm of people overtook us!
And there were no more eggs.

Oliver and the Easter Bunny.

Cool Down:

We went to the hiking trail to check out
his eggs.

He was excited about the tootsie roll.
He said Grammie likes them!  He forgot
to save her one though!

Mommy was excited about this purple
flower bracelet.  (Mommy kind of likes bracelets.)

We visited the Y's annual plant sale!

He got a snack from the vending machines.

We headed home.  Saxony Dr.  was like a parking lot!
All for the Easter bunny!  Fun!
