Art Splash

We had a nice day.  Oliver had fun spending some time in the morning with Grammie and Aunt Jess, while Mommy took a Y break.  Afterwards we went to a little street fair in Carlsbad called Art Splash!  Mommy saw the sign for it on Rancho Santa Fe Rd and decided we should go check it out!  It was pretty cool.

We had a nice rest of the day together.  We did some errands and came home to rest.  Well, Mommy wanted to rest, but Oliver wouldn't really let her.  He probably gets the not slowing down thing from Mommy.  Oh well.  Happy Saturday!

Oliver is off with his Daddy in the morning for the next week.  Mommy will miss him.

Art Splash!

Neat surfboard signs!

Artists working on a sand sculpture.

Another really awesome sand sculpture.

He wanted to go in and play with the sand.  Mommy
told him he can make a sculpture at home!

Little art street fair.

Lots of cool, cool chalk art!

Mommy loved the artist's seat!

Froggy?

Oliver thought the art was pretty neat too!

He devoured his hot dog and ate a couple of chips.

Art Splash- It is still going on tomorrow!  It is on Amada
Dr. which is above the flower fields.

Oliver is super into band aids right now.

Guess who we saw there?  Grandma and her friend.

Grandma giving Oliver a nice hug.

Waiting in line for a balloon.

He asked for a dog, then a monkey, then a
sword, then a dog, then finally settled on a sword.

Sword making.

Mr. O with his sword.

Graffiti art.

Mommy loves this whimsical piece of art.

Mommy wanted to make a sun catcher.

Oliver didn't really want to, he wanted to watch the
girl on the pogo stick!

Mommy colored a peacock.

Rock Balancing.  (Mommy likes balancing
things.)  She is getting good at it.

Hula Hoops!

Sand Sculpture again!

So Cute!

With his sword on the way to the car.
He was kind of in and out of a pouty
mood.  It kind of makes Mommy tired
when he does that!

We stopped by Jimbos on the way home.
Mommy read some of the Far Side comics
that she hasn't read yet.

More comics.  (Mommy needs a good laugh.)

Oliver at Jimbos.  Right after this he ran
out of gas and laid on the floor.  Sometimes
it is cute when he is a car, sometimes its
not so cute.  At least he has an awesome
imagination!
