Apples in Julian

We had a nice day together.  Oliver had fun in the morning with Grandpa and Grammie, while Mommy was with Aunt Ali and the new baby again!  Oliver ate a ton for breakfast, Grandpa is a good cook!

We went up to Julian this afternoon to pick apples and walk around the cute town!  We had fun together!

Good Morning baby.  Blurry, because Mommy
turned the flash off.  He is such a sweet baby.

Driving to the mountains.

Mommy's favorite song for Oliver, "My Wish" was
on the radio.  We listened to it and enjoyed the drive, going
through Santa Ysabel and starting up the road to Julian.
(Hopefully none of Mommy's readers get car sick watching the video.)

Raven Hill Orchard.

There are a lot of sculptures there too!

Yummy!

Picking apples.  He was a little whiny, but soon
warmed up to the whole experience and was
a lot of fun at the orchard and in town!

Golden Delicious.

Cuteness.

Yummy!

Oliver's bag ripped!  Mommy was able to
figure out how to carry it without losing too
many apples!

Oliver reaching for a butterfly we were watching.
Can you see it?

Picking apples.

The Orchard.

Mommy likes this fun street sign!  Julian
is so much fun!  It never gets old for Mommy.

Julian Sign.

Part of Main Street.

More buildings.

One of our favorite stores.

It has tons of candy, nuts, jams, honey, chocolate,
and more!

Oliver picked out some sour balls as his treat.
Mommy couldn't decided what she wanted, so
she didn't get anything.

These would have been fun though!

Hanging outside our favorite store.  Of course
Oliver wouldn't pose for our picture.  Oh well.

We went down into this craft sale!

It was actually pretty neat!  We found something cute for
Baby Rachel and her baby brother!

Coolest used book store ever!

In the front yard, they had this trunk with plants.
(Maybe Mommy should do that with her trunk?
She still needs to decide what to do with it.  But
she kind of needs help figuring it out...)

Entering the book house.

Silly.

There are bookshelves on every wall of the house!

Oliver enjoyed hanging out in this area while
Mommy looked for her own treasure.  Oliver
already found his treasure!

Here are our treasures.  Mommy actually found
two!  Oliver's coloring book is perfect for
tomorrow!  It is Talk Like A Pirate Day!
(Of course, Mommy likes pirates.)  Oliver
likes them too!  He is already practicing...

Other cute book displays in the yard.  Mommy likes
the dedication plaque to the kitty cat.

We wanted to bring home a slice of pie...

But the pie shops had really really long lines.
So we passed.  We had fun walking by the
shops though!

Mommy's favorite trinket store!

Neat Peacock feathers!

Oliver likes the gems.

There were a lot of signs in the store.  Mommy
has always liked this quote!

Eagle table!  Crazy!

Beautiful whimsical display.

Love this sign and the mug!

There are tons of signs in the store!
(These signs were kind of funny...)

Nice.

Tin signs.

More tin signs.  (Perfect.)

Some more buildings.

Mommy always has to stop here at the end.

We both got drinks and sat for a little bit,
then we drove home.

We had a wonderful weekend full of delicious apples and baby love!
