This morning we tried out another bakery in Escondido. This one looked like an old German bakery, we thought maybe we could get some coffee cake there- but they didn't have any. Oliver got a cheese danish and a cookie. Mommy didn't see anything that she really wanted, but they did have some cute cookies there! Out of all the new places we've tried, the Paris Cafe is definitely the one we want to go back too! (Mommy still needs to go there and cozy up with a book and some chamomile tea.)
Oliver hung out with Grammie and Uncle Matthew while Mommy took a Y break. We ran a bunch of errands today and Oliver took a really great nap! Yippee! He took a nice warm bath, we read a few chapters, and now he is sleeping. (Sending sweet dreams to everyone.)
The Bakery on Valley Parkway
Oliver led the way.
He wanted to orange flower cookie.
Cute bikini cookies and shirt and tie cookies!
Mommy got an elephant ear and brought it to Grammie.
Of course, Grammie knew what an elephant ear was.
Mommy didn't know...this one was baked not fried.
But Mommy knows where
she gets her sweet tooth from, and it is pretty
obvious where Oliver gets his from!
Yums.
Lots of cookies.
Eating his danish with monster truck in hand.
Cheese danish with a couple bites.
Grammie and Oliver eating elephant ear.
Returning our books at the library!
We read a good book.
We looked at the doll house. The dining room is so cozy.
So is the study.
And the entryway. (Mommy likes cozy,
open entryways...)
