We had a fun, busy day!
We ran our 2nd 5k together in Balboa Park:
Parking is tough. (Mommy needs a
chauffeur, just for races.)
Start line. Finish Chelsea's Run.
A bittersweet race.
Lots of news channels there!
Start line. Mommy wore Chelsea's wings.
Her parents and Mommy's favorite announcer.
He has been at Mommy's last 3 races.
National Anthem. Beautiful.
Happy to run! Mommy liked running
with her camera!
Inspiration.
We got to run on the freeway!
He wanted to run, run, run! Mommy was taking too long!
He is getting good at this running races thing!
Mommy told him to go for it!
He made sure to high five Chelsea's
sweet parents.
Arts, crafts and plants at the end.
How we want to make change!
Our results! A lot faster than Light the Night! Yay!
Oliver is proud of his one second lead over Mommy.
We missed the sunflower rush, but we still donated a
dollar and Oliver picked the most vibrant one he
could find.
Mommy really likes this race.
Boy Scout Store:
We had to stop to pick up something.
Oliver was IMPRESSED!
Afterwards we went to pick up Mommy's birthday
gift from Uncle Chad and Claire. Uncle Chad is an Eagle
Scout, Oliver is very impressed by that!
Claire was happy with all the race goodies
Mommy gave her. Especially the headband
we got at the end of our race!
smART Fair:
On the way home we stopped by the
Center for Arts in Escondido to see
Oliver's artwork!
Awesome!
We looked at a lot of other art and
got some ideas.
Home by 1:00!
Mommy worked on writing a paper.
She can't wait to set up the hand me down
TV that Chad and Jess gave Mommy.
Its not that big, it will fit perfectly in our hutch.
She really wants to watch some Downtown Abbey
when she has time.
The boys played for a long time together! They were
making tar.
Busy, busy, fun, fun day.
