We had a really nice day together. In the morning, Mommy came back to Grammie's from a long run and Oliver had just woken up! Mommy loves that! Oliver hopped on his scooter and we headed to a garage sale down the street:
These have become easily readable sight words
for Oliver.
He picked Mommy some fruit on the way.
Mommy spied a tulip!
At the garage sale...
there was nothing special.
But Mommy ran past one that looked busy from afar so
we hopped in the car and went there:
Lots of interesting stuff for sale, the house
will be for sale soon too! The family
that lived there was very nice!
Box full of jars!
Something for free???
Lemonade for Oliver!
And coffee for Mommy! Fun!
We got our own Christmas Story! Its
still wrapped! Yahoo! Even though
we drove there Oliver still wanted
to wear his helmet...
We found some other treasures! Oliver got a rope and a
empty tube container for artwork. Mommy found
a treasure in those rolled up pieces of artwork...
A watercolor painted by the Grandma. Mommy
asked her to please sign it. She has plans for this
original piece.
After the sale, Oliver played and had some Nick Jr. time
while Mommy washed away her sweat (and maybe some tears)
and then we went to the bank!
Oliver opened his own savings account!
He deposited most of his Easter money, but kept
$5 for something fun!
Then we rested and read for a little bit at the library:
Mommy kept laughing when she read her book.
Oliver thought it was funny that she would laugh.
(Mommy likes to laugh.)
We plan on attending this next Saturday!
We came home to watch 4 kids and later
when they finally calmed down this.
Oliver really likes Pocahontas!
