Kindergarten

Today was Oliver's first day of Kindergarten!  He was super excited, very confident, and so happy!  Mommy loves her little Kindergartner so much!  

He learned a ton of new routines, met the principal of the school, ate snack, played on the playground, and got to do some coloring at his little desk!  Mommy is so proud of her little student!

Mommy was just going to do a special blog on Kindergarten but then something else exciting happened   in the afternoon around 3:30.  A fire on the hill above our home!  

We smelled smoke and saw flames and heard crackles from

the place Oliver is looking through.  The fire was along

the edge of our neighbors driveway!  We shut all our 

windows and went to see what we could do.

Mari came too!  She came to help us with babies, but

luckily Mommy took the day off, so we didn't have any!

Phew!

Lots of Firefighters came to put out the fire!

We are so thankful they put it out and stopped it from spreading!

Lots of Lookie-loos!  The police blocked the road.

Our neighbor was the first to go up and spray

water.  He took some pictures!  

Scary!  

After it was all out and everyone was allowed back

up the road, we went to see what it looked like.

We are very thankful for the hardworking firefighters

and really great neighbors!

So, we continued our day and did our Monday

swim!

We both kind of needed the water to calm us down!
