Green Tuesday

Oliver and Mommy celebrated St. Patrick's Day this evening.  Oliver will be off with his Daddy on the green leprechaun day, so Mommy decided to do some festive activities together on our Tuesday together time!

Happy Green Tuesday!

Oliver's rainbow at school!

Oliver's math shamrock!
Our Daycare Display!

Another book!  We read this one tonight!
But before we read we made a rainbow with a pot of gold!
Oliver had to wash his hands first...

He also had to find a rainbow in the book
Mommy gave him.  We wanted to know the order
of the rainbow colors!

He found a good example!
(Good readers use pictures and words as
clues to help draw conclusions.  But they
aren't always sure about the conclusions
they draw..........)  Oliver wasn't sure if the
rainbow would work for the project we had
plan.  Mommy thought that it was perfect!

Starting our rainbow with strawberries!
We made it a healthy food rainbow!
(Mommy loves red.)

Finishing up the rainbow with purple!  Olives!
Oliver's favorite!

Yummy!  We added a cloud and a pot of gold.  Oliver
was allowed to eat a piece of gold and marshmallows after
he ate at least 6 pieces of the rainbow.  He ate about 10!  Yippee!
Rainbow Talk.

Mommy dressed up in a green shirt and her shamrock
headband to celebrate!  Oliver tried to capture it on camera!

We decorated the Daycare Room too!

Cuteness!

So proud of his work!

Our book was awesome too!
(Reading is fun!  It adds so much color to our lives!)

Hope everyone has a fun St. Patrick's Day on Saturday!  Mommy thinks Oliver is well-prepped now for the school festivities and anything he does on the weekend!
