Merry Christmas! Oliver and Mommy had a nice little Christmas this morning together.
Oliver is off with his Daddy now to spend the rest of Christmas with him! Mommy already misses him and will see him tomorrow!
Merry Christmas!
Christmas cinnamon rolls.
Our tree.
Santa filled our stockings!
Oliver checking them out!
He spied his gumball stick from Santa!
Yummy!
Opening another present from Santa.
A new snowglobe! Not Christmas, but pretty amazing.
(Two cats in an old car!)
Opening something special from Mommy....
Quarters? There is a second part to this present.
But we got sidetracked...
Checking out Santa's letter back to Oliver.
Oliver gave Mommy lots of hugs and kisses this morning.
Second part of the present. He also had to
change back into his elf suit before we
opened the rest of his presents!
We spy...
A real antique gumball machine!
It is the one thing Oliver always looks for at the antique
mall on Grand. (Its made in the U.S.A.) It is perfect.
First gumball in his mouth.
We poured all the gumballs in and tested
it out! It works! Mommy is hoping this will be a
good lesson for learning to be careful with things
(we are kind of hard on things...), learning to take
apart and put the machine back together, and sharing.
Also in recognizing the value of old things (Mommy likes
old things), Oliver already seems to appreciate antiques! Yippee!
Testing his machine out!
Oliver kind of gave this journal and mug to Mommy.
Mommy read this article in Real Simple magazine.
She was inspired by the idea so she ordered a journal. It
is a neat way to celebrate Christmas, Birthdays, and Mother's Day.
Oliver likes the idea too! He will put in his first entry later!
(Mommy hopes it fills up with many, many more entries....)
We got kaleidoscopes in our stockings!
Sock Monkey hat!
He got his favorite chapstick!
Searching for the pickle ornament!
Searching. Here is the story behind the pickle.
He found it! So he got a little extra present!
Lucky elf!
Merry Christmas!
