Lots of Pictures!

Today we had a kind of busy fun day.  Mommy felt like taking a bunch of pictures.  So here is our day!

Oliver wanted to bring his medal box to Grammie's
this morning.  Cuteness!

After Grammie's we went to the park
and had a little picnic!

Oliver said the stones were beautiful.

He asked a ton of questions about the Stagecoach
Stop.  He likes learning about history.  (So does
Mommy.)

On the playground.

Ready to slide down to Mommy.

Getting the swing ready.

For Mommy!

He wanted to hike the little river trail.

It is actually sculpture art!

Exploring.

Here Oliver was telling Mommy about the "History"
of the art trail.  Cute!

The trail went into the "woods."

We were kind of scared to go in...Oliver thought
there might be dinosaurs, so he thought it would be
a good idea to whisper...

Here is our whispering hike in...(Mommy thought
it would be fun if we saw a grizzly bear.) Oliver
has so many questions about bears, he thinks too
much sometimes!

Cage at the end.
Oliver thought it was pretty cool.

Pretty.

Pretty again!

After the park we went to the library:

The art gallery was open so we went in to check out
the exhibit.
Mommy used to go to the gallery all the time.
She is glad she gets to share it with Oliver now.

The exhibit was a bunch of really neat puppets.  Many
of them were very old.

Some were hanging from the ceiling!

Beautiful!

Who is this?

Puppets from Greece.

Jimmy Carter, Margaret Thatcher, and Mommy can't
remember who the other man is...
The man with green hair.

Mommy had to teach Oliver to keep
his hands to himself in the gallery.
It is very tempting to touch all the puppets.

Old Man of the Woods.

It has interesting history behind it.  Mommy needs
to go back and read all the information at the gallery.
It was hard with little man.  (She will have to go back,
soon.  Hopefully.)

Snow Boy and Girl.

Their story.  (Sweet story.)

More interesting history.
We went in to the library.  We checked out
a lot of books about Rabbits!

Mommy has had a craving to read a "Dear America"
series book for a while now.  They are one of Mommy's
favorite genres.  Historical fiction, written in the
style of a journal!  Fun!

Mommy chose this one and one about
the Lewis and Clark Expedition.  Now,
she hopes she can find some time to read them!

We went over to the winery today to
talk to our neighbor.  Oliver was excited
to go over there.

Pretty.

Tasting sign.

Oliver loved all the old stuff there!

But he was scared in the tasting room and
wouldn't talk to Vera our neighbor.
We will try again another day.  She is
really nice.

More old stuff.

Explorer!

Happiness!

He loved all the empty bottles.

We had a long day full of fun things, chores, and a little rest.  (Mommy is looking for the moon now. She sees lots of beautiful stars!)  Good-nighty night!
