Vintage Dolls

When Mommy and her sisters were young we used to love playing with Grammie's old Barbie dolls that were kept at Grandpa and Grandma's home on the lake.  When they moved to Flordia, somehow the dolls kind of disappeared.  Aunt Jill and Uncle Wes finally found the box of dolls.  Aunt Jill waited to open the sacred box with Grammie.  They had fun sorting through the dolls.  Now Grammie will have her old Barbies at home.  Most of them are in perfect condition because Grandma would not let her girls cut their hair or do other weird stuff to them.

Here are some pictures Mommy took of the vintage Barbie dolls:

The Box

There was some other stuff Jill brought, so
Mommy had to post this too...This is Grandma
Headdy's wedding announcement in the newspaper.

The box again.

(Anticipation.)

The first doll Grammie took out was all warped
and gross.  Good thing it wasn't a Barbie.

Grammie was totally disgusted...

because these dolls were so gross.  Still
not Barbie dolls.

Ken Box

Inside the Ken box.  (Mommy definitely
prefers the dark haired one.)

Aunt Jill looking at dolls.

A cute dress.

The Ken box.  (Again.)

Another Barbie box.

Awesome.

Perfect Barbie dolls.

Mommy thought this dress was neat.

It even had a zipper in the back.

Blurry picture, but the Barbie clothes tag is so cool!

Mommy bets Grammie will be displaying her Barbies somewhere in her house soon.

Mommy had to add this picture too.  Aunt Jill brought a ton
of Grandma's cross stitch patterns and other craft ideas.  Aunt
Jess was so excited.  Mommy is too, she wants to do another
bird for her bedroom wall.
