Band Performance

Last night Oliver had his spring band performance.  He did a wonderful job with his saxophone, even though mom couldn't see him on stage.

We have a busy weekend, full of teaching Saturday school, playdates, and camping!  

Pretty

It was a pretty day....

The ocean looks so pretty from mom's classroom.  

Clear coastal days are the best!

On mom's walk, she saw this sign.  It seems

like a fun place to go.  

So proud.  

Oliver goes to his dad's tomorrow.  Mom will see him on Friday for some weekend camping!  

Disc Golf

This afternoon we went to play disc golf at Kit Carson Park.  It was a lot of fun, a little windy, but we had some good laughs.

Oliver requested to play disc golf instead

of going to our Monday Y date.  Of course.

Outside is fun!

We just need to figure out the rules and the

course.

Also, how to throw frisbees the proper way.

But it was all worth it!

Chicks and Play

We had a pretty nice Sunday....

In the morning, Oliver shared his chicks with

Danielle and James.

Then with Claire and Shane....

Shane's hands were cold, but he said, 

"No, they're worm."  Cutest thing ever!

and mom loves when Oliver has play dates!

Back to school tomorrow!  Mom is pretending like she is ready for the stretch until schools out for summer.  

Satisfying Saturday

We had a pretty satisfying Saturday....

Mom ran a half marathon...

She was pleased with her time.

Then we came home to a Rotary Club President

bringing us a LFL for our GOTR community

project....Yay!

It was sad...our windows are so clean, two

hummingbirds slammed into it...

Oliver helped them and they flew off..

They flew up to the pecan tree..we think they'll

be ok..

Our chicks, Miranda and Gwen are doing well too!

Oliver had fun playing with his old buddy, Logan.

And.....mom is so pleased with our windows, look what

was out there today!  A wedding at the winery and

the bride used our driveway for pictures!

Gorgeous!  

It was a satisfying day!

Clear

It was a nice, beautiful, clear day....

Mom decided to make it clearer by getting all

our windows professionally cleaned.

It's so pretty and refreshing now.  Clearly.

Clearly Oliver was happy to see mom...

We like walking the steep hill to where 

mom parks.  

She likes to torture Oliver.  Clearly.

This pigs are clearly adorable!

Oliver decided he needed two baby chicks.

Mom let him.  

They were clearly a hit when we saw a

friends at Michaels.   

We had a nice day.
