Friday Night Donuts!

Yippie!  Mommy picked up Oliver tonight and we picked up some donut holes to fuel Oliver and the cousins in the morning before the race!  We'll bring some berries and clementines for them to eat too!

Oliver's caterpillars came today in the mail!

He is going to watch Painted Lady Butterflies

come alive and then we will set them free!

All he had to do was place the container inside his

enclosure.  This will be a little more fun than the

moths we watched last summer!

Donut Wednesday

 Yippie!  Donut Wednesday!  We had a nice time at the donut shop this morning.

Oliver is off with his Daddy.  Mommy will see her little runner for the Jr. Carlsbad Race, she will get to spend some extra time with him on Friday evening to prepare him for his Saturday morning race!   (Goodnight and sweet dreams.)

Poetry

This morning Oliver helped Mommy put our podium in the Adventure Subaru.  He agreed to let Mommy's students use it for reading the poetry they are writing in class.  Oliver was super cute about it!  Mommy went to help him and she couldn't find him.  He took the long way!  

He could have just gone on the side

of the house!

But when Mommy checked on him

the podium was gone and so was Oliver!

So, Mommy turned around to go 

look for him!

Mommy wants to read this book to 

Oliver some day!  

Poetry is fun.  Mommy is getting her

classroom ready for open house next week.

So, she is using some of her old lessons

that always had good outcomes.  The

students loved writing their own

"So much depends upon" poems today.

Mommy will introduce more poetry to Oliver soon.

Oliver likes succulents!  He got this one 

and is putting it in his succulent garden

he created.  His face is cute in this picture,

maybe Mommy will write a poem about

it at school tomorrow.

Swim

Oliver had great swim lessons today!

Summer coming up!  Maybe Oliver will be

the cut out picture next year!

Sunday

 We had a really nice day!

We swam!  Mommy forgot her camera, well not really.

It got sucked up into a secret hole in her purse.

Grr.  She didn't check there when she looked for it.

So, her pictures are sparse today.  

We visited The Loflens:

We came with a purpose today!  To bring some

of garden starters and help them plant a 

little vegetable garden!

It is going to be awesome once everything gets 

a little bigger!  

Uncle Chad was very creative with his watering

system!  It will use rain water, if there is any, to

water with the PVC pipe!  So cool!  

This is a pumpkin plant that grew from a pumpkin

they let sit there from last Halloween!  Cool!

Can't wait to harvest the pumpkin in October!

And, we can't wait to see what name

they add here in October!  Aunt

Jess has a baby growing in her belly!!!

Saturday

We had a nice productive Saturday!

Library Stuff!  He likes to wait on the

stairs while Mommy gets her things!

Mommy likes to climb up to him, sometimes.

Goofball!

Oliver planted the frog and the flower 

in the pot.  He chose to put it in the

flower garden bed.  Mommy worked

a ton in the garden while Oliver 

played with Mattias!

In the evening we went for a walk to Trader

Joes and Major Market!  One of our favorite 

things to do!

Mommy had to hold the scooter for him!

While he walked and talked and talked

and talked.

We saw our old friend!

Saturday night fun with two of our old 

friends from daycare.
