Stuff

We are spending our vacation being productive and resting!  Before our swim we stopped at the library:

We were looking for Home Alone!  Oliver
hasn't seen it yet and Mommy thinks he
will really like it!

He helped Mommy find it.
Kind of.

We had to put a hold on it!  Can't wait to
get it!  Oliver will love watching it!
(Mommy still has a hard time sitting through
a whole movie.  She would rather read instead.)

Here is that Book Christmas tree Mommy
promised you!

We stopped at Wal-Mart for some things.
We didn't really need the girl smurf,
but you know how Mommy is with
that claw machine!

A man was filling them up as we were
leaving.  We might need to go back tomorrow.
Dang it!

We did some painting work when we
got home too!  Oliver painted an
unfinished bird house while Mommy
worked on painting the bottom of
the park bench!

Vacations are so nice.

Legos

Oliver is home!  We transitioned at home.  Working on his new Lego set together helped a lot.

(We are off for a swim now!)  Happy Friday!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!  We had a wonderful day with our family!

Mommy took a ton of pictures, of course!  Enjoy!

Mommy brought some singing decorations
to play with!  Aunt Jess brought a silly
decoration in a dress!

This corn dip was a yummy decoration!

The Wietzkes
(Wit-ski, just in case you wanted to know!)

 Arrivals:

Claire came sleeping!

Mommy picked up Oliver at noon on the
Fire Road.  He showed Mommy the
target deer he got from his Daddy.  Oliver
is proud of his bow and arrow practice.

The Radfords came carrying some
toys they got from Santa!

Family:
Marshmallow telling Mommy all about
her new Monkey Sleeping Bag!

Mommy had to take lots of pictures of
Claire today!  She just had too!

Giggles!

These two have funny conversations!

So do these two!

Mommy and Oliver picture!  Claire joined us too!

Then all the others did too!
(Mommy loves being an Aunt!)

Mommy likes being a daughter and a sister too!

Gifts:
“Happiness doesn't result from what we get,
but from what we give.” ― Ben Carson

Uncle Matthew and Oliver worked together to disperse
the gifts.  That is usually Mommy and Aunt Jess's job!

They were very productive!

Merida for our tree!

This is a pretty cool ornament for our tree!
(No boos or bah humbugs allowed!)

Mommy liked the editing on this card!

Oliver got string and tape from Grammie!

Mommy and Oliver gave Grammie an
old garden box thing and some bulbs!

Uncle Kelly loved his fishing supplies
from the Loflens!

These guys loved their flashlights from Grandpa!

Claire liked her Heidi book from Oliver.
Her little family is off for Switzerland in
the morning for three weeks!!!
Safe travels!

The traditional three
sisters pretty present from Grammie!

"Tablet" workers!

Aunt Ali loved her new frame!

 Home:
We came home for a little bit to open a couple of
gifts together and see if Santa stopped by...he did!
Mommy fixed up an old "park bench" a little for Oliver.

Santa ate some of the cookies and left donuts
for Oliver, since its Donut Wednesday!

He filled our stockings too!

Santa brought some gumballs to refill his machine!
Very thoughtful of Santa!

He also brought a small snow globe for Oliver!
It has the Eiffel Tower!  Oliver loves pictures
of the Eiffel Tower!

Santa also had his elves engrave this plaque for
Oliver's park bench!  So cool!  Mommy
and Oliver had a nice conversation about
the meaning of the quote!

Santa is so so sweet, he brought this book
for Mommy!

Some stuff from Oliver's stockings!
Oliver loves lottery tickets!

He filled up his gumball machine!

He is dwelling in possibility!  He posed for
this picture on his own!  Sweet.

This is pretty sweet too!  He is one tired, happy kid!
Mommy will see him again on Friday at noon.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
