Walk

Mommy picked up Oliver early this weekend!  We had some friends over tonight and went for a Milk Walk!  Oliver rode his scooter pretty much the whole way and we had fun with our brother and sister friends!

Donut Wednesday

We had a quiet donut Wednesday.  We had our sweets ready at home in the morning, so we could sleep in but not miss our favorite day together!

Oliver is off with his Daddy.  Mommy will see her little man on Sunday at 10:30 for a special celebration!

Specials

We filled our day with special things!

Oliver's Special Things:

He got to spend part of the morning with his Grandma.  He went to the Safari Park and his favorite animal he saw were the lions!

When they got back Grandma gave Oliver

a special early birthday present.  A Nook!

Oliver is very, very excited.

He couldn't sit still, he wanted to play

Angry Birds immediately!  Mommy was

able to learn the basics real quick of the Nook

and after Grandma left Oliver played for a long time.

Mommy took Oliver and a late pick-up

toddler on a walk.  Oliver played Angry Birds.

When we got home, he didn't want to

get out of the stroller yet.  Then he sat on

the driveway and played.  Then in the

car while we ran a couple of errands.

Mommy let him play a lot today.  At night we

played the educational apps on the Nook.

(We need to create a good balance.)

 Mommy's Special Things:

Wheatgrass.

Mommy loves watching Oliver donate his wooden coin.

He loves the idea of laughing ponies!

Delicious Swim

This evening we went to the library to sign up for the "Reading Is So Delicious" summer reading program!  Then we went for a swim! 

We had a really nice Monday together!

Excited to sign up!

Past years t-shirts!  Once Oliver reports 7 times he

will receive a t-shirt!

Sunday

We had a really nice Sunday together!

We went for a swim as soon as

the pool opened up for family swim!

We got the pool mostly to ourselves for 

about 10 minutes!

It was a beautiful day!

After we swam we visited with Jessica!  Oliver

brought stamps he wanted to show her.  She

asked him to stamp her hands too!  

We ran into Olive again!

Oliver wanted to check out the empty

soccer field!

Mommy hopes he will want to play soccer soon!

We visited the library to pick up some videos for

Oliver to watch when he needs to wind down

during the day.  We got a sneak peak

at the summer reading program decorations!  It

starts tomorrow!  Guess where we'll be

tomorrow night!?
