Little Helper

Mommy was able to pick Oliver up earlier at the Y today because she had just two toddlers.  Oliver was excited to see us and to share our friends with his Y friends!  Oliver helped Mommy a little bit and then just played his little heart out!  He fell asleep at 7:30 tonight.  Mommy is glad he is home.

Mommy's little helper.

The wind blew the gate so we couldn't get
onto the driveway.  Oliver offered to get out
and open it up for Mommy.

Giving Mommy directions to drive forward.
Sweetness.

He didn't help Mommy with the Lego
mess that the toddlers made in the morning.
Thats okay though!  (But it sure was an
overwhelming color mess.)

Goodnight!!!

Donut Wednesday

Rainy Donut Wednesday!  Yippie!  We had fun this morning together.  We love Donut Wednesdays!

Searching.

Yums!

Being silly while Mommy waited patiently
for our turn.

Oliver's Donut.

Mommy's Donut Hole.

Mommy's Coffee.
(Dark, yum, and walking the line.)

Mommy's Sweetness.

Oliver is off with his Daddy after school.  Mommy will see her little donut eater on Friday for another nice together weekend!

Swimming

Oliver had another good day off school for President's Day.  He was very helpful with the toddlers and was very sweet and quite during nap time.  Phew!  We went for our Tuesday night swim at the Y and had a nice time!

Crazy kid walked from the car to the lobby
dressed like that, it was cold and wet!

Waiting in a trance with Mark.

We brought in some chocolate peanut butter hearts that
we got for 90% off.  We wanted just a couple, so
Oliver shared the rest with some people.

Like the girls at the counter...

And some of the lifeguards!  They work so hard!
We are glad they help protect the swimmers!

Waiting for Mommy.
(The song in the background is funny and true.)

Mark and Oliver.

Goofy picture.

Oliver set the one up for the camera.

Too fast Oliver again.

Cold and rainy tonight!

He wanted to share some with another fun lifeguard,
we had to walk over to the other pool.

This lifeguard doesn't mind when Oliver splashes
his feet when he passes him.  He also has been
encouraging Oliver to go a little ways away from the
wall.  Oliver isn't quite ready yet.
Confidence, confidence, confidence.
We are working on it.

Oliver liked this sign!

President's Day

Mommy and Oliver celebrated President's Day with lots of errands and a little bit of fun!  We started our morning at Grammie's.  Oliver watched Nick Jr. and Mommy took her Y break!  Then we were off together!  Mommy felt like taking lots of pictures today.

Swim:

Oliver was acting like Mommy here.
She doesn't walk like that at the pool though.

Smirk Face!

Another Counter Girl who puts swim bracelets on!
Her name is Rebecca.  She is really nice and has
a nice british accent.  She says, "Oliver" beautifully!

Fountain play.

We got to watch swim lessons for about 5 minutes!

Crowded in the pool today!

He has been escaping too fast!

Beautiful day!

Oil Change:

Mommy tries to do all these kind of errands
when Oliver isn't with her, but sometimes
it doesn't work out.  So we went to Jiffy Lube!

Sweetness.

Good coupon.

Air:

Mommy is a trusting person.  But sometimes she
just wants to double check.  Jiffy Lube said they checked
the air in our tires.  But we came to Discount Tires
and the air was 7 whatever below the whatever is
recommended.  Grrr.  The front tires are wearing funny again.
(We need to talk about that soon.)

Dentist:

Oliver helped Mommy at the dentist.

He was going to wait in the waiting room...

But Heather is really, really nice and she wanted him
to be in the room!  We had to set some ground rules
though.  And Oliver enjoyed going through Mommy's
purse and taking pictures with her camera.

He also enjoyed taking one of Mommy's shoes and
socks off.

And taking pictures of himself.

And of magazine pages...

Pretty!

Pretty Heather.  Ugly Mommy.
But at least Mommy knows what it looks
like when you are at the dentist now.  Hopefully,
she set a good example for Oliver.  No cavities!

Mommy likes to be in control of the camera too!

Home:

After the dentist our camera's battery was exhausted.
We did a few more errands that eventually made
us both exhausted.  In a good way, Oliver fell fast
asleep, early!

(Goodnight.)
