Friday

Oliver had an awesome week at school!  We wanted to have another calm Friday night so we decided to go swimming!  We had a nice swim together!  We are looking forward to this weekend!

We discussed going to Crusin' Grand but decided we 

wanted to do something calm and quiet.  We drove

by on the way to Encinitas.  This is the last

Cruise for 2012, Grand was closed and it looked very crowded!

We wanted calm, we got very calm!  Only a few

people were in the pool!

The water was a bit cold, but we still had fun!

We are staying at Grammie's tonight.

Since its the moon closest to the Autumn equinox

its called the Harvest moon.  Yippie for Autumn!  

Donut Wednesday

Donut Wednesday!  Yippee!  We had a nice time at the donut shop this morning.  Donut Wednesday always makes us in a good mood!

First we went to check on the parrot.

It was in the same place as last night.  Leaning against

the palm trunk.  Barely blinking its eyes.  It was

ready to go.  One of our daycare moms thinks

it might be West Nile Virus.  (Just like a crow

that died in my yard not long ago.)  The parrot

was gone when Mommy came home.  Probably

our neighbor who was helping last night, took it away.

Oliver is off with his Daddy after school.  Mommy will see her little parrot rescuer on Friday afternoon for another nice together weekend!  

Bird Tent

Oliver and Mommy hung out in his tent and finished up some homework tonight!  Mommy had fun looking at all of his birds in their own little tent pockets!  Oliver takes such good care of them!

After homework we were outside and we found a hurt parrot.  There wasn't anything we could do for it.  Oliver has learned a lot about life cycles and this is just another example to add to his beautiful little mind.

We had a nice rest of the evening together.

Monday Swim

We had fun working on Oliver's homework in the family room tent and then heading for family swim at the Y!  It was a little cold in the pool, but it felt nice!  Oliver was a major goofball tonight!

Camp Sunday

We started our morning at Grammie's!  We like sleeping in Mommy's old room!  Grammie has made it so pretty!  Mommy took an early Y break while Oliver watched his morning cartoons!  Then we came home to play with a baby friend and play around our home!

Oliver wanted to play in the tent, so Mommy set

it up for him!  Oliver had fun in it and helped Mommy

with the poles!

Oliver checked this out at the library yesterday!  He

watched it after he played in his tent for awhile!

Out baby friend got picked up a couple hours earlier than

we expected, so after Mommy finished the last of the

painting in the daycare room (finally, but its not perfect, oh well)

we went to the local park on Spruce Street!

We came home and after dinner and Oliver's

shower we made a milk run!
