Donut Wednesday

Donut Wednesday!  Yippee!  We had fun at the donut shop this morning!  We nibbled our yummies, watched birds, and laughed!

We sang this song on the way to school today!  We sang it yesterday on the way home, it always makes us laugh!  Oliver loves Sid the Science Kid, he loves school, and he loves his Mommy.  Mommy knows its important for Oliver to be independent and she really wants him to love school.  Learning is fun!  Mommy learned a lot from this article about raising independent children!

In the Classroom

Oliver had a great day at school!  He showed Mommy a bunch of interesting things in his classroom!  

First he wanted to show Mommy the rolling slide!

Tags

Oliver was busy, busy, busy today!  He had fun playing with his bugs and using his imagination!

He came out of his bedroom and wanted Mommy

to take a picture of his frog.

Then Mommy came to check on him and she discovered this 

frightening mess!  He was cutting off all the tags of 

the last of Mommy's beanie babies!  Nooooo!!!!!!

(Mommy does think his little snippets are cute though.)

Mommy cried a little.  She is crying in this picture.

But we talked about how important it is to keep the tags 

on the beanies.  They each have a name, a poem, and

a birthdate.  

We problem solved!  Oliver didn't cut any more

tags off and we put all the tags in a container

so now we can remember their names and their poems.

Later, he found another fun tag and wanted to put it in the ground

out front!  (Mommy likes what it says!  He inspires

Mommy to try and be more creative with this blog!)

He has even been telling Mommy to take pictures of things!

Tracks

Oliver came home this afternoon.  We met Grammie at her home for a nice pizza dinner!  On the way Mommy noticed some animal tracks on her windshield....

Interesting, what could they be?

Hmmm.....a little boy monkey who should not be

climbing on Mommy's car when she is loading it up!

(And Mommy just got her car washed yesterday!)

Silly Monkey.  Mommy tried to 

get Oliver tired by getting him to climb 

up and down the stairs.  It didn't work to well.

On the way home we saw our favorite water lights.

Mommy is glad Oliver is home!  Happy Sunday!

 Yippie!  Donut Wednesday!  Oliver and Mommy had fun at the donut shop this morning!  We made sure to get there a little earlier so we could miss the line and have more time to rest at the picnic tables with our yummies!

Tuesday Art

Oliver had a great day at school.  He showed Mommy all of his artwork when she picked him up!  He is doing some great work!  Mommy is proud of her almost Kindergartner!  

We spent the rest of the evening at home resting and doing chores.  We had a really nice evening together!

Sprinklers

Oliver kept busy at home today collecting slugs, watching Wonder Pets, playing in his room, helping Mommy with the babies a little, going to the park with Grammie, and at the end of the day playing in the sprinklers!  (Water is calming.)
