Donut Wednesday

Donut Wednesday!  Yippee!  We had fun at the donut shop this morning!

thought she left her camera at home.

She talked Oliver into sharing it with Mommy.

Oliver is off with his Daddy after school.  Mommy will see Oliver on Monday afternoon.  She is really  missing him.

Sunshine and Blue Jay

Normally Oliver has a hard time waking up for school on Tuesday mornings.  He puts up a big fuss, gives Mommy a million reasons why he can't go to school, and usually finally does the right thing and gets dressed and ready for school.  He really loves school and once he is there he is a happy student!  

This morning he whined.  So Mommy made up songs again.  She can't remember the lyrics, but she rhymed sunshine and whine together in a song.  Oliver laughed at that and got out of bed.

After school we came straight home and the first thing Oliver saw was a Blue Jay!  Blue Jays are a bit more aggressive then the Bluebird of Happiness we saw yesterday.  But we like both of them just the same.

We see Blue Jays a lot in our yard.  (Mommy still wants to see more of the Bluebird of Happiness.)

Bluebird

Oliver woke up a little congested this morning.  He had great plans for staying in bed all day and watching TV later on the couch to give his body rest.  He started by laying on Mommy's bench piled high with clean folded clothes waiting to be put away.  He looked out the window for awhile.

He spied a bluebird of happiness on our white fence.

We saw it in there the other afternoon too!

(It was the little things that made us feel good today.)

Oliver's plans to rest were short lived.  He stayed on the 

bench for about 3 minutes then was off playing the rest of the day!

(Hopefully we see the bluebird again soon.  Mommy likes the way it makes her feel.)

Earth Day

Oliver and Mommy went to the Earth Day Fair at Balboa Park this afternoon!  We had a lot of fun together!

Mommy took a bunch of pictures, here a few:

We found a shuttle to take.  Mommy loves cities, 

but not finding parking spots!

It will be perfect for our trips to the library.

our goodies after a trip to the library.

Oliver was just telling Mommy this morning that we

should get some ladybugs for our garden!  Smarty pants!

We took a rest with some of our favorite things.

Mommy wanted to take Oliver into the gardens, but

it was closed.  We will have to plan a trip back soon!
