After a long day at home with a couple of babies, Oliver and Mommy went on an evening adventure! We had already planned on going to Cruisin' Grand to check out all the cars and soak up the atmosphere. It was awesome! We saw tons of neat vehicles! We are definitely going back!

He thought this store, which sold car things,
was a carnival game store! Mommy is glad that
he likes to play games as much as she does!
We went in the store, they had really neat displays.

Oliver liked the truck doors.
We stopped and rested. Oliver said he was out of
gas and he needed more. Mommy gave him something
to drink. He thinks he is a car.
Right after we sat and Mommy refueled
her little Owl, we saw this license plate.
It reminded Mommy of Oliver.
Mommy wanted a picture with Oliver.
He got to choose the car. He chose this
old Jeep.
This was a neat Jeep. Mommy likes the history
behind it.
There is a brand new candy store on Grand.
Mommy sees it when she takes Oliver to
preschool, but she didn't tell him about it.
We went in tonight though!
They have a lot of neat things besides candy.
Mommy thought this was funny and she thought
Aunt Jess would like it. (Sorry, just couldn't help myself.)
A pirate in the candy store? (Pure bliss for Mommy!)

Oliver got a smarties lollypop.
Mommy got a...see above. She used to get these
from the candy stand in Indiana. They are her favorite.
She shared it with Oliver of course, he loved it too!

It was fun seeing the cars parked, but also a lot of them were
driving around. (Mommy thought this one was really, really neat.)
We liked driving down Grand too!
This was another fancy car that was driving. Mommy
liked the license plate. (Hmmm neat again...Mommy has always
wanted to go on a road trip to New Mexico!)
Oliver had a bath before we left for Cruisin' Grand
and Mommy let him be in his jammies. She knew he would fall
asleep on the way home. Mommy likes when Oliver gets his rest.
We had an awesome time together! Oliver is off in the morning with his Daddy. Mommy won't see him for the next week, except for a short time this Monday. Mommy knows he will have fun, but she misses him already.
