Donut Wednesday

Another donut Wednesday!  The last one in July.  Oliver didn't go to preschool today, he was feeling a little under the weather last night, so Mommy let him sleep in and get better.  He was all better when he woke up this morning.  Mommy is glad because she wants him to be healthy for our trip!

Tomorrow we are off for Indiana!  Mommy is excited to see family, take a couple runs through the corn fields and watch Oliver play!

Getting Ready

Today was a getting ready day.  Oliver got ready to go to school.  He had fun there!  He is learning so much, it is amazing!  Then when we came home and we got ready for our trip to Indiana.  We had a nice evening together.

Hot Monday

We had a busy Monday with our daycare babies.  It was hot today, we are trying to get used to it.  We like it though.  (Guess we are getting ready....?)  We are going to Indiana at the end of the week, where it will be hot and humid.  (Can't wait!)  Oliver is already talking about how he gets to play out in the park on his own, without Mommy.  He is growing up so fast.

Sunday

We had a kind of funky Sunday.  Oliver was in a silly mood today.  He was not being very respectful when we went to Grammie's or with Mommy.  Mommy could tell he was tired, he just kept rubbing his little eyes like a baby.  So Mommy got him to fall asleep on our drive home.  He took a really great nap.  Then we tried to go to the movies.  He made it through the previews and about 15 minutes of the movie. Good thing they give you a refund!  Mommy thinks she will wait a while before she takes Oliver to the movies.  He can't seem to sit through a whole movie with her.  

We went to Froyo instead and celebrated National Ice Cream month again.  (It is still National Ice Cream month...)  Happy weekend!

We had an awesome time at the concert last night.  Oliver had fun with Uncle Chad too!  Mommy took a  bunch of short videos of her favorite songs.  (She decided to dump them here, so maybe she can come back to them or maybe they will call to her...)  It seems better than just keeping them tucked away in her computer.   She likes listening to them, and Oliver enjoyed watching and listening to them too!

Busy Morning

We had a busy Saturday morning.  We hung out at home and then went to the donut shop real quick!  Then we were off to Grammie's for just a bit.  Oliver played while Mommy took a fast Y break.  Then we were off to our favorite place, the hair salon...Oliver loves it there.  Mommy not so much...(it's no fun  having gray hair when you are so young...at least she's not alone.)  Aunt Jess is catching up, ha ha.

We had a restful hour at home, now we are off to Aunt Jess and Uncle Chads!

(So, now Mommy is off to go play the listening game at the Sugarland and Sara Barielles concert!)    Oliver is going to hang out with Uncle Chad tonight for a fun boys night!  They are going to watch Sword and the Stone.  Mommy is bringing something to thank Uncle Chad for being such a nice Uncle.

Friday

Busy Friday with our daycare friends.  Put out tons of small fires, had the neighbor kids over again, the boys had fun.  (Mommy doesn't have much to say today, she is just ready for the weekend.  Really.)
