Poster

Oliver called and asked for some help with his campaign for Spirit Coordinator.   We got some materials and Mommy helped him fix his poster.  There was such a flurry of work and kitty cat confusion Mommy didn't get a chance to take a picture of his poster.  The blue one was a rough draft he created on his own.  Sweetness.  Mommy is proud of his efforts.

he needs for town hall.  

Oliver is back at his Daddy's.  Mommy will see him tomorrow for his first fall baseball practice!  She has missed him.  A lot.

Responsible

Oliver is showing his responsibility traits.

He wants to go to JJ as much as he can.

He is able to go 3 times a week.  Mommy

always gets him there on his Tuesday practices.

He is trying to earn a new belt.

He showed responsibility for showering and homework

by coming in from the range.  He was playing with Mattias.

Guitar responsibility.

Up next:  student council responsibility and band responsibility.  He brought these responsibilities home on his own. With follow through he'll be successful!  

Oliver is off with his Daddy after school on Wednesday.  Mommy will see him Monday after school.  She'll be following up this week on his little dreams to see if he needs any help!  

Labor Day

We had a Labor day full of rest, work, and play.

We rested in the morning before going to the Escondido

Y to workout together.

Then we played at Lake Miramar.

Oliver fished.

Mommy ran the 5 mile loop around the loop.

These preschoolers were soooo sweet! 

They played with the worms Mommy gave 

them and had fun smelling Oliver's yucky

power baits he keeps in his tackle box.

Play at home:

Oliver had Logan over to play for awhile.

Then Mattias came over to play with

airsoft guns, bb guns, and arrows.

A little foosball too.  Mommy thinks

Oliver had a good day off school.  

Swim

We went for a swim with the cousins today at their community pool.  The Loflens live in the most family friendly neighborhood in Encinitas.  Village Park is great!

We thought this was funny at Grammie's house....

Shane was excited to take Oliver

Chad was complaining about the weather in Encinitas

yesterday. Mommy told him to shut it.  It was at least 10

degrees cooler and they HAVE A/C!

Oliver and I ate lunch at Ricos afterwards.

So yummy.

We had a really great rest of the day.

Hot

It's hot today.  We found ways to keep busy, calm, and cool.  Tomorrow should be cooler, thank goodness.

Guitar

Oliver is grasping the things he is learning about guitar.  Today his teacher said he is playing the chords much stronger.  

Mommy spied om him....he's cute.

Mommy is glad he's home for the long weekend.
