Donut Wednesday

We had a really great start to our day!

Oliver took over the camera:

He said he was taking pictures of the statues'
butts.  Funny.

Mommy took the camera back:

(Mommy's tea.)
Don't mind the floating pieces of
yerba mate.  Those are what help her
get through the gruesome traffic in the morning.

Oliver is off with his Daddy.  Mommy will see him on Friday evening to help him sell popcorn at Major Market.  She misses him already.  He was pretty silly the past few days!

Tickles Tuesday

Oliver's goofiness tickled Mommy's funny bone today....

Good morning...

He really loves these glasses!  He worked hard
for them and got them at the 20/20 reading
club at lunch yesterday!

His creative play in the backyard with friends
tickled Mommy's soul today.

Back to tickling Mommy's funny bone.  He needed
to draw lines to matching numbers for his homework.
This is what he did when Mommy was setting up
her computer for a MLIS group meeting.  Funny!
But, frustrating.  GET TO WORK!

(Goodnight and sweet ticklish dreams.)

People

Oliver's day was full of nice people.  He is back at school and had a really good day!  He got to attend the 20/20 club that he thought he missed on Friday.  It was to celebrate his reading he has done over the month at home.  He has worked hard with Mommy and Daddy's girlfriend, Jill.  We make sure his calendar is filled out so Oliver gets credit.  Oliver is getting a lot of good reading practice!  (Finally.)

Oliver was happy about his Social Studies
test score.  He is becoming quite a scholar!

We ate dinner and worked on homework after
he had an appointment.

Both of us worked on homework!

We went by to visit Eileen and her kids for a
popcorn delivery.

James only lets girls in this box if they can do
armpit farts.  Nice.

Oliver got to hang out with his sweet cousin...

Oliver is a really good cousin.

Sweetness.
Goodnight and sweet dreams.

Way Better

Oliver is feeling way better!  He played with his cousins this morning at Grammie and Grandpa's while Mommy was exercising, sold over $300 in popcorn at a store sale all by himself, and played with the neighborhood kid club.

Think about supporting Oliver in his popcorn selling!
He would like to reach the $2,500 to get the college
scholarship! Because he is going to college!!!
He is currently at about $1,865!  Pretty
impressive!  He still has 3 store sales to attend and
some house to house selling!

He is a very hard-worker and takes suggestions
for selling to heart and has a positive attitude!
(Mommy is proud of her scout and she likes
sharing about him here.)

Playing with the kid club!

Better

Oliver is better.  Mommy is rested.  Our apple computer doesn't want to download pictures.  So sorry.  No cute pictures.  Maybe tomorrow.  (Does it really matter anyways?)

Update.  Mommy got the camera to work.  Here are pictures from yesterday.  (If you care.)  No one left a comment on the blog or emailed her.  Oh well, it means a lot to her.  She'll stop feeling sorry for herself now.

What!?

You got a new purse Mommy!  Yes, Oliver
Mommy's purse was breaking, just like her
favorite pair of shoes broke last week.

By 2:00, Oliver was ready to get out of the house.
He was feeling better.  We went and looked around
at Home Depot.  Mommy's application for grass
removal in our backyard was approved.  We
can put native plants in the back, but need to do
it by the end of November.  Sigh.

We'll get it done.

All by ourselves.  Just like we always do.

Oliver was so excited to eat.
He hadn't been able to eat food for 3 days.

He also wanted to look at something at Sports
Authority.  He has so many dreams and ideas.

He wanted to play.

Mommy only let him for a little bit.  He was
screaming a lot.  Mommy didn't want his
throat to get inflamed.

He played with sweet cousins Ellie and Jak at night.
Ellie told him he has a high arch.  She is a foot expert.

Goodnight and sweet dreams.

Hanging Around

Oliver is home.  He still doesn't feel good.  He is on antibiotics now and we are just hanging around tonight.  Hopefully after some rest, we'll be able to get back to normal.  We don't like being sick.  (Mommy is feeling run down.)  Goodnight and sweet healthy dreams.

October

Happy October!

Masha!  (Mommy.)

Mommy kind of thinks that's what this
blog is all about!

Shane turns ONE this month!  He
is the cutest baby ever!

Have a nice October!  Fall is wonderful!
