Donut Wednesday

We had a nice quiet Donut Wednesday this morning.  

Oliver will be off with his Daddy at 5:00 today.  Mommy will see her mostly quiet person on Friday at noon.  Happy Wednesday!

Tuesday

Today we went to Oliver's school to sign him up for the Y program, they help with before and after school care, this year Mommy hopes to pick up Oliver earlier on her days, because she is going to start substitute teaching!  Yay!  Its nice knowing we have really nice Y teachers and Ms. Ann the director helping take care of Oliver!

The Y and Kindergarten are in the Bernardo Hallway.

Oliver will be visiting Cowles Mountain this year

for first grade!

Today he hung out in the tree though!

School starts soon, August 19th!

We had to do some errands too.  Oliver was making

himself comfortable at the bank while Mommy had her

back turned.  (Mommy wishes she could be this

comfy at the bank.)

He listened to Mommy when she asked him

not to sit like that.  Mommy wishes he could

just sit still sometimes, but he probably kind

of gets that from Mommy.  Oh well.

Charged

 Oliver and Mommy were charged up this evening to go for a long swim together and try an make it home earlier than normal on our Monday night ritual!  Unfortunately our car battery wasn't feeling so charged.

Fortunately, our neighbor, Andrew was home and

he could help us get the car started!

Oliver kept busy with his nook, while we were parking

and connecting the rope things.

Yippie!

Mommy had hoped he would be more interested

in this car problem.  He was nooking though.

We went to this little place off Valley Center Parkway.

Andrew suggested it.  

So glad we did!  The battery was reasonably priced 

and they put it in right away!

The even fixed the blown out headlight!

(Again!  Why does that keep happening?)

Oliver stayed busy while they helped make our

car a little better!

We charged our way to the Y and

we were able to swim for a bit!

Sunday

Mommy picked up Oliver this afternoon and we went shopping:

For some necessities. 

(Interesting fodder.)

 There is something pretty valuable at the

bottom of the cart.

We came home and were kind of lazy for the rest of the night!

Beautiful Day

Today was a beautiful day.  Mommy picked up Oliver

in the late afternoon and we took advantage of the weather

and went for a long swim!

We came home to rest and Oliver pretended to 

help Mommy make her bed!

Oliver is off with his Daddy.  Mommy will see him again at 4:00 tomorrow.

Scooting

Oliver, Mommy and two toddlers went for a scooter/stroller ride this afternoon!  

Oliver loves the lobsters at Major Market!

On the way home we stopped by a neat house Mommy

discovered last week on Utah Street:

Some interesting books, movies, movie posters...

But the best is how the owner has decorated his yard!

Its pretty awesome!
