Saturday

We had a nice together Saturday!  Oliver and Mommy started the day at Grammie's again!  We just did our normal fun things together- we always try to make them kind of like an adventure!  Its nice having little things to look forward too!

Happy Saturday!

Oliver worked on the computer for a bit
while Mommy caught up on some
morning reading.

Picking out his movie for the week.

He signed up for the fall reading program!
For each 5 books he reads he gets a free
hamburger from In-n-Out!  He can get
up to 3 coupons!  Yippie!

Heading into the used bookshop at the
entrance of the library.

Here are our treasures.

We headed to the Y for some swimming!

Hiking afterwards!  Swimming was nice
and relaxing!

We stopped at a special bakery hidden in
a Nursery off Quail Gardens Drive and
Encinitas Blvd.  We haven't been for a long
time!  Mommy promised Oliver!

The nursery has birds now!

They have really neat "yard art" everywhere!

Mommy likes that birdhouse!

The bakery!

Does someone look kind of excited?

Oliver's Owl Cupcake.
It was very rich, he didn't finish it all!  Yippie!

Mommy got a mini with toffee.  (She really likes toffee.)
The black/white one was for a special Grammie.
Mommy and Oliver are sharing the scone in the morning!
Isn't everything pretty?

(Here is the address, just in case you haven't been
there yet!)

We thought this yard art was very creative!

Oliver couldn't stop laughing!

On our way home we stopped to look at what
used to be the big chicken house.  All torn down.  (Sigh.)

Oliver played when we got home!
Sweet creative boy.

Friday Swim

Oliver had a good week at school!  Today he decorated pumpkins with paint in his classroom!  This evening we went for a nice swim together!

Happy Friday!

Dancing, waiting for Missy.

It was nice and calm in the pool.

But the noise level in the aquatic center was crazy!
A high school water polo game was going on!  It
was kind of fun listening to the cheering!

Oliver played afterwards!
(Goodnight, sleep tight.)

Happy Wednesday!

Mommy's Donut Hole.

Oliver is off with his Daddy after school.  Mommy will see her little Kindergartener on Friday for another nice together weekend.

Homework

Oliver had a nice day at school!  He is learning so much and enjoys all the routines his teacher has set in place!  Mommy is glad he likes school!

We are still working on making homework a positive experience!

Happy Tuesday!

Oliver used his glitter glue to draw the picture!

We bought it at Michael's on Sunday with our 40 percent off
coupon!  It has been a good motivator for Oliver!
(Mommy is having a hard time putting some of the caps on
and also taking off the little stopper things.  She keeps
spilling it on herself!  Help.)

Goodnight!

Swim

Oliver had a nice day at school!  He sheepishly told Mommy that he had to move his clip down to "Warning" because he was doing some sort of weird crab/frog walk in line with another boy.  But twenty minutes later he moved it back to "Superstar."  Mommy is glad he was honest and hopes he learned a lesson.  He did that same walk at Trader Joe's last night and it drives Mommy crazy!!!

We had fun at the Y tonight!  Happy Monday!

It was calm when we got out!  Oliver was checking
out the depth of the pool.

Dark Sky!
(Goodnight!)

Mommy's favorite part of tonight-seeing Donna!
She used to work at Child Watch when Oliver went there.
They had a very special relationship.  Oliver recognized
her right away even though its been almost 2 years since
he has seen her.  We love her!

October

Mommy wanted to share our calendars with you!  Happy October!

Masha.
(Two birds.)

"One kind word can warm three winter months."
That little girl to the right of the calendar
warms Mommy's heart every time she sees her!
