Vaccinations

Oliver came home today, he met Mommy first at his doctor's office.  He needed to get the rest of his vaccinations so he is up to date for Kindergarten!  He wasn't really looking forward to it.

He ran away from Mommy in the parking lot.
He was laughing.  So we were still ok.

Mommy thought our funny doctor's psychedelic
room would make it all better.

Mommy was looking at everything and she realized there
must be a black light in the room!  She found one...
(The doctor is funny!)

(Anticipation.)

Mommy turned off the lights.  (Still anticipation.)

Mommy turned the lights back on, Oliver hid.

The doctor tried to help Oliver relax.

Eventually with 3 other adults in the room and
Mommy holding him tight with her arms- the
doctor was able to give him his 4 vaccinations.
(That doctor is talented!)

Afterwards we went on an adventure to Wal-Mart:

Oliver got a happy meal before we
went on our mission for the one
thing Mommy needed.

He filled his belly.

We liked this fun display!

In the end we played some claw machines.
It kind of helped us relax after walking through Wal-Mart.
(Mommy is not a big fan of Wal-Mart.)

Putting our money in the machine.

We caught something but it fell out of the
claw on the way to the drop.  We tried, we
had fun, we both became very tired....

then we came home.  (Home is nice.)

Happy Friday!

Donut Wednesday!

Donut Wednesday and Grandpa's birthday!   Happy Birthday Grandpa!  Yippee!!!

We had fun picking out our donuts this morning and freezing our patooties off on the cold picnic benches!

Happy Wednesday!

Green donuts!

Festive sprinkles!

The hand chair is back!  Its cleaner!  Can
you tell Oliver was happy?

Oliver's donut.

Mommy's French Cruller Donut.
(Nice, pink, and smooth.)

Yum!

Mommy cut it in half.  She ate half at the picnic table.
(She will nibble on the other half throughout the day.  Yum!)

It was windy.  He loved chasing the bag!

Yum.

Holding the door open for Mommy.
(Sweet gentleman.)

Oliver is off with his Daddy after school.  Mommy will see him on Friday!  She misses her donut head already!

Movie Night

Oliver had a wonderful day at preschool!  He was busy playing cars and town with his good friends when Mommy picked him up!  We came home to rest, do our routine, and watch a little bit of "Aladdin."  We are trying to watch a lot of Disney movies so we know all about the characters when we go to Disneyland in the summer sometime!

Happy Tuesday!

Cubby Stop!

Our Movie.

We got really into the movie.

Aladdin is funny!  (Major goofball.)

Giving bread to some hungry children.  (He is
a major sweetheart too.)

Princess Jasmine.

She likes birds and has a big cat, a tiger!

Their first meeting.  Its funny they kind of finish
each others sentences most of the time.
(Connections like that are good.)

We stopped when the Genie came out of the lamp.  Oliver fell fast asleep.  Mommy is about to conk out too.

Good night.  (Sweet dreams.)

Sunflowers

The highlight of our day had to do with sunflowers.  Mommy ran a race this weekend and her finishers medal was a packet of sunflower seeds!  The race honored Chelsea King who was murdered two years ago while running on a trail in Escondido.  The race raised money for the foundation created in her honor.  Check out Chelsea's Light Foundation.

They had sunflowers available at the race.  Sunflowers
were Chelsea's favorite flower.  Mommy
gave a little donation and brought some home.  Mommy
also brought home a pot for Oliver to paint and for us
to plant the seeds.

Here are our seeds!  Mommy's bib can be planted
and sunflowers will grow!
(Planting seeds of hope.)

Close-up.
(Mommy used the close-up feature on her camera.)

Oliver's color choices for painting his pot.

Painting his pot.

His pot is a beautiful mix of colors.  We
can't wait to nurture the seeds and watch
the flowers grow!

Happy Monday!

Play Date

We had a nice Sunday!  Oliver hung out with Grandpa and Grammie for a bit in the morning while Mommy took  quick Y break, then we were off for our home!  In the late afternoon Oliver's friend Annalise came over for a play date!  They had a blast running around playing while the Mamas chatted!  It was nice!

Playing with a ballon at Grammies.
(Reminds Mommy of this nice song.)

Strawberry time!

Waiting for his good friend!
(Anticipation.  Anticipation.  Anticipation.)

Hanging out with Chloe in our new chicken/
bunny coop.  We've got some ideas for
our new coop.  Chloe only hangs out in there
during the day for now.  She loves it!

Shadow sandbox play.

Oliver shared his gum ball machine with
Annalise.

Getting her gum ball.

(Can you tell Mommy is tired?  She didn't take a bunch of cute pictures like she usually does!)  Next time!  Play dates with Annalise and her Mommy are fun!

Lazy Evening

Oliver came home late this afternoon.  We had a lazy evening together.  We strolled through World Market and dreamed.  We came home to rest, dance, and fall asleep.

Saturdays are really nice.

Sipping his marble drink as we strolled
 through the store.

These Marshmallow Stix caught Mommy's eye!

Oliver tried out a lot of couches.

We thought this drafting table was neat.

(Great White. Good price!)

He liked the leather chair.

He wanted Mommy to take a picture of the fake flowers.

Neat bowls!  (Elephant.)

Resting.  Mommy told him he can't put his shoes on
other peoples' couches.  He quickly took them off.

Standing in line with some Valentines goodies Mommy
let him purchase.  They were 90% off!

(Nice collection.)
Now Mommy needs to hide them!

On the way home we stopped by the pretty light
fountains at Lexus.  The song on the radio was
pretty awesome!  (It was "Banjo" by Rascal Flatts.
It makes Mommy laugh!)

Happy Saturday!

Happy March!

Happy March!  Mommy wanted to share our calendars!

Friday is Dr. Seuss's Birthday!  Don't forget!  It's also Read Across America Day!  Mommy will do some reading.

Also March is National Peanut Month and National Nutrition Month!  (Don't forget to eat your greens!)

"Just trust yourself.  Then you will know
how to live." -Goethe-
(Ok.)

Masha D'yans. (Nice.)
