Mr. Brandon

Today was one of our daycare babies last day.  Mr. Brandon and his family are moving to Washington D.C.  Mommy learned a lot from this little guy.  Mommy and Oliver are going to miss him and his sister a lot.

Here are some pictures of Brandon that make Mommy smile and of course cry a little:

A little unsure of the bumbo seat at first.

He went to Donut Wednesdays with us for a few months.
You can kind of see him in this picture.  He liked to
try and grab Mommy's donut holes.
You can see his little feet hanging off Mommy.  She always
wore him there and the donut ladies loved him!

You can see him lying down.  Cutest legs!

He loves to eat!  And always wanted to feed himself!

(This is kind of weird, but since Mommy has kind
of a lot of thinking time during the day with her babies....)
She decided to put them into Hogwarts classes, based on
personality and other character traits.
Brandon is a Slytherin because he is kind of sneaky
and really bright.

He got to go to PlayWerx when he spent a few nights
with Mommy and Oliver!

Cuteness!

Feet!

Always so curious!

Ball pit!

Grammie liked to visit with him!
Mommy cleaning him up!

Even Uncle Chad got to meet him!
Brandon wasn't impressed!

Crashed out on the couch.

Boys at Lowes.

One of Mommy's favorite pictures!

Beautiful Sydney!

We are going to miss her silliness!

Yum!

Best smiles ever!

Chilling out with Dana.

Brandon liked to go to Jimbos with Mommy.

Sweetness.

Swings!

Looking at....

Lobsters!

On our walks we always passed the Kung Fu Panda.

One day we stopped by the winery.  Mommy
wanted to meet Vera the lady that runs it...

Brandon sampled the juice while we were there.
He couldn't get enough of it!

He loves the daycare doors.

At the park.

Recently he has been playing in baskets.  He likes
when Mommy slides him across the floor in the
basket.

And today he was walking around with
the basket on his head.

Talking to Mommy.

We are going to miss this silly kid.  Mommy is so glad she got to watch him grow his first year.
We wish their family safe travels and have fun discovering Washington D.C.  Lucky!

Rain

We had a nice Friday.  Oliver loved watching the rain from the daycare windows.  We were looking at Mommy's starter garden and all the flowers and veggies getting some nourishment.  We had a great evening together.  Oliver fell asleep really fast after his routine.  (Sleep tight babe.)

Night

Oliver and Mommy were tired tonight.  We planned
on watching Care Bears together, but we were so
tired we laid in Mommy's bed and watched music videos.

He fell asleep fast.
Sweet Oliver sleeping with lots of cherry chapstick
on his chapped lips.  (Goodnight babe.)

Anyone need a Ra Ra fix?  Mommy did.  She came by for a little bit with her Mama today:

Farmers Market and Dia de los Muertos

Mommy picked up Oliver at preschool today!  Yippee!  Mommy missed her Owl.  We stopped at the Farmers Market on the way home.  We had a nice time there.  We came home and did our routine.  Then we drove to the Escondido Center for Arts down the street and went to the Dia de los Muertos celebration.  Mommy and Oliver made a memorial box to remember our loved ones.  Oliver was a little sleepy, but very interested in everything he was seeing.  Mommy hopes we can go to this every year together.  Its a nice to way to remember and celebrate the people we have lost.

Treehugger.

Buying Mommy some chamomile.
(Mommy needs her chamomile.)

The drink man wasn't there.  He got
a drink at 7-11 instead.

We visited the birdies for a second.

Buying Kettle Korn.

Lots and lots of it.  (Yay!)

On the building outside of the art center.
From the brochure:
"The Mexican holiday Day of the Dead- Dia de los Muertos,
is celebrated on November 1st and 2nd to honor and remember
family members, who have died, by assembling altars, ofrenda, of traditional
breads, candles, sugar skulls and marigold flower on graves and in homes.  It
is believed that the souls of the dead will return on the night of November 1
and enjoy the offerings."

 Altars
 Tortilla Art
Oliver picked a red shoebox for our altar.

He chose orange and purple paint.  Mommy painted.
Then he wanted glitter.  Mommy found a little bit
and we sprinkled it in our altar.

We put our pictures of Uncle Tommy, Bhuta, Patches,
and Grandma and Grandpa Headdy inside our altar.
Oliver wanted a heart he found to be placed above
Bhuta's head.  Sweet.

Oliver with our altar.

Neat Skull.

More neat artwork.

We set up our altar at home and lit a candle.
Rest in peace.

November

Its November!  Wow!

Mommy wanted to share our calendars:

Pretty, pretty, pretty.  (Mommy
loves the heart leaves on the tree.)

Nice.  Thats easy to do in the daycare
room when there are a bunch of babies
crawling happily around.
