Oliver woke up in a much better, refreshed mood this morning. After our morning break we headed over to Stagecoach park to play along the little hiking trail:
Oliver searched for crawdads.
Mommy sat in a twisted mess of
trees...
While Oliver explores...
and Mommy read this. Inspiring, but
not exactly what Mommy is used too.
Oliver says racoon tracks! Mommy
isn't sure.
Big Crawdad he caught with some other
boys that were on the trail.
Crawdad Crawling.
Mommy spotted an egret while Oliver
was fishing.
In the car we made notes of what to bring tomorrow
when we go back for a bit.
Oliver had Mommy add shrimp to the journal.
(Mommy likes making lists. It keeps
getting longer...)
Oliver shared his crawdads with one of
our favorite courtesy girls!
Pretty day for a swim.
Getting his floaties.
Mommy and Oliver swam together for 20 minutes.
Then Oliver's Daddy came to get him for a few hours.
Oliver was pretty happy to share one of his
favorite places with his Daddy.
(...)
Mommy left them playing and had many, many
directions she needed to go.
Our transition has been much better tonight.
Oliver is really into building an army fort right now.
Happy Saturday!
