Happy Easter

Happy Easter!  Mommy picked up Oliver at 3:30 today and we came home to play!

First he checked out what the Easter Bunny brought!

The Easter Bunny hid some eggs in our
backyard for him!

He ate some chocolate from his basket
right away!

Then he read this note with help from
Mommy...

And he made his way outside!

Cuteness!

There were a bunch in the tree!

The sunflowers were really pretty today!

He was so excited the Easter Bunny came
to our home!

Later he played for a bit in the backyard with
Magnus and Mattias.  Magnus, the red head said
they were playing "Ice Truckers."
(Mommy read about that show a long time ago!  Spooky.)
Silly boys!

They also discovered this bone that Mommy
found the other day.  They all thought it was
a dinosaur bone!

Happy Easter!!!

Morning

Oliver slept in until 8:00 this morning!  Yahoo!!!  He spent the morning playing and helping Mommy.

We went for a walk up the hill by our home.
He loves his scooter!

Geraniums on our walk!

Oliver hid a Easter eggs for the toddlers
to practice finding in the yard!

He did a really good job!

We are so glad Spring is here!
(What do you think about the flowers?)

Oliver is off with his Daddy until Easter Sunday!  Mommy will see her Easter Egg Hider soon!

Peachy

Mommy felt just peachy tonight because Oliver came home so his Daddy could attend to some warden business early in the morning.  Mommy thought Oliver's transition would be easier for him (and her) if he slept at home tonight.

We read a few chapters from James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl and then went to bed!

Someone got a haircut!!!

So far the story is a little sad.  But good reader's
make predictions and we predict that life is going
to get easier and better for James!
(Mommy likes being a good reader.)

Mommy also likes when Oliver has a short haircut!

(Goodnight and sweet dreams!)

Donut Wednesday

We had a nice Donut Wednesday at home this morning!  We chose our donuts last night at the donut shop on the way home from the Farmer's Market so that we could sleep in this morning!  We had fun at the donut shop choosing our donuts and then eating together this morning!

Donut bag!

Mommy would have taken a bunch of cute pictures
but someone dropped her camera and it doesn't
work anymore.  She is using her birthday camera now!

Oliver's Donut.

Mommy's Donut hole.

Cuteness eating his donut.

We love our home.
(Now, Mommy just needs some coffee to complete her Wednesday.)

Oliver is off with his Daddy.  She will see her Helper Mischief Maker on Easter Sunday at 5:00.

All Over the Place

Oliver was all over the place today!  (So was Mommy's brain.)  He had a fun Spring Break Day at home and on some adventures!

We invited James our neighbor to play with us
during our outside time!

Mommy felt like taking pictures of Oliver Mischief:

He likes to take rest breaks in this nook.
He also likes to charm snakes!

He needed to count his super star tickets!

He pulled a carrot from the garden, that
Mommy would rather have stayed in the ground.

He and the toddlers like to look for
roly polies.

Birdwalk:  Doesn't the front garden look pretty!?!

He made mud pies.

Which involved a lot of dirt on the deck.
Grr.

Grrr.

Grrr.  Mommy needs to show Oliver where the
baby wipes are located.

Oliver went to the Lake with Cooper and his Daddy
for about an hour during nap time:

Cooper loves Oliver!

Mommy and Cooper.
(Mommy loves that dog.)

Puppy play!

We visited the Farmer's Market in the evening:
Leading the way.
Still leading the way.

Checking out the reptile store!

Getting cookies from our favorite
Escondido Cookie Lady!

Checking out the birds!

We ordered some quesadillas for dinner!

Yum!

Olivers!

Mommy's squash blossom!

Oliver bought some strawberries.

And ate them on a bench!

Cute.
(Mommy wants to go somewhere.)

Home:

We had fun at home together and then at 8:00, Maggie
came over to babysit Oliver for the first time for an hour.
Her Mom came to help because its Maggie's first time
babysitting!  Oliver was excited about it all day!  He saw
Maggie out the window when Mommy snapped this photo!
We thought a practice babysitting run would be a good
idea during Spring Break for all of us!
It was a success!

Mommy went and ran at her gym, Chuze, close to our home.
She is working really hard to earn the right to purchase
a "Marathon Mom" shirt at her first Marathon in June!

(Goodnight!  Mommy is going to try and rest her brain now.)
